Just bought a super comfortable chair from La-Z-Boy. Really going to help with my lower back. Can't wait for it to be delivered.

I hope it works out. We bought a non-reclining chair from La-Z-Boy once and the chair they delivered sucked out loud. It wasn't anywhere near as comfortable as the one in the store. The bottom cushion and support were awful, so I sunk in way past the point where my arms could comfortably rest on the armrests. They tried swapping out the bottom cushion insert with the one that was in the chair at the store, and that helped a little bit, but it was clearly the underlying support that was at fault. They offered to take the chair back, but wanted a 15% restocking fee. We paid $900 for the chair, so that 15% would have meant we were out $135 with nothing to show for it. We kept the chair and I put a folded up old blanket under the cushion. It still wasn't ideal, but I got used to it. That was maybe 18 years ago and we've never considered La-Z-Boy again.

My chiropractor has a love/hate relationship with La-Z-Boy. He says he frequently gets new back patients that have recently purchased a new recliner from them. Coincidence? Perhaps.

PS - this chair is going in the family room replacing a 20+ year old chair that was pretty comfy in its day but has gotten worn out over the years. |

Wife and I are in phase 2 of redoing our basement and adding a few things and phase 2 being the entertainment / electronic side of things.
Bought a Samsung 75'' 4K TV. Reused our older Samsung Sound bar (in the process of looking for replacements, going to Best Buy later today to hear a few options in person before hosting the SB this Sunday.) and have a Nintendo Switch connected to the tv / sound bar for an awesome Mario Kart experience. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung...?skuId=6514052 We bought two of these floating shelves from Amazon and was an easy install. Used 2.5in cabinet screws to attach the shelves to the studs. I need to install the LED light strip under this as soon as it arrives from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Atelier-Float...zcF9tdGY&psc=1 For the slats. We got these from Amazon and they are very easy to install and really transforms the space. I had to go out and buy a table saw to rip the last slat at the very end to the right. The wall there isn't square so it was challenging to get it to look right. We ordered two sets. Each one was 8ft tall by 13'' wide. We needed 4 of them. Two came in one box. Right now, there is a $50 coupon that can be applied if you have Prime. https://www.amazon.com/KVENI-Acousti...1zcF9hdGY&th=1 https://www.harborfreight.com/power-...saw-57342.html Upgraded the saw blade to the Diablo Ultimate finish to make my cuts without splintering the wood. https://www.homedepot.com/p/DIABLO-1...090X/202786851 Was a fun project and looking forward to seeing peoples reactions this Sunday when they see the completed project for the first time. Phase 3 is putting down carpet and decluttering.

bosstones I got one of those 2.0 about 8 months ago and the pressure switch gave up after about 10 hrs of use, they sent me another, didn't want the old one. It's a little loud. Make sure you are using their nozzles or it may overload your circuit.

Bought some albums. I try to buy (used) albums made from the initial release/pressing, but sometimes new re-pressses will have to do...

I do too. It’s just a fresh light scent. I’ve been hearing good things about the PB Million. Will have to check that out. Hm have not heard of the Terre Di Hermes. I’ll add to my list.

I'm somewhere in the 30+ bottles. My favorite this time of year, Fall & Winter, MONTALE. I have 5 different bottles. Delicious and compliment getters. |

My chair was delivered today. Very comfortable. Just like the one I sat in at the store (pic here). All is good. Hoping for better days for my poor ol' back. Last edited by Esteban; 02-09-2024 at 03:32 PM.. |

Stressless furniture is more like a Volvo seat, not super soft and padded, but really supportive in the right places.

I have been wanting one of these for a year now and finally found a deal! I'm getting too old for jacks/stands!
