What do you guys think of a full M3 conversion kit (rep) with a CSL trunk on an e90?

Bumper/fogs/side skirts/rear bumper/grills plus the CSL boot.

It'd look nice, but I hear most of those kits still don't fit perfectly... lots of complaints.

The CSL trunk would look sweet though.

How about Mtech kit with a 3d design lip?

Need your guys' opinion on taking my car in for service. I've got a cold start long cranking issue, which is most likely the fuel pump that needs to be replaced. The only aftermarket thing that I'm worried about bringing it in with is the flash. I'm afraid if they check for fuel pump related codes they might come across some tuner related ones as well.

Now I've been meaning to get it flashed by to stock by Fluid, but it'd be a hassle for me since the car is my daily driver and they said it'd take a day to do so. Fine... but what pisses me off, though, is that they said it needs to be reprogrammed back, and they said they'd charge me $125 to do so. It's as if a company is charging you to return a product

take it to Tony, he'll flash back to stock for you

That is crap. I can see where they want to be compensated for their time, however, this shouldn't take all day.

I know that LET does not charge for a flash back to stock or to put it back on. In fact, next month they are supposed to have out a hand held device for $695? programmed to your vin where you could put your flash on and off as needed without going in.

I'd say that unless you need or want the tune, bite the bullet and bring it in to reflash to stock. I guess it depends on how long you are keeping the car as well. If this doesnt accelerate your sales process, then take care of the problem under warranty.

Yeah, but I'd guess since it wasn't his tune, he'd charge to do so. But its worth a call, might be cheaper.

However, if you have EC (Tony) do it, will your original tuner reinstall for free if you want it back on?
