Interesting - I tried to buy that one from the previous owner last year, but he elected to sell to a local guy instead. Wonder why its for sale after a year with only a few thousand miles added.

My thought is that you should call the guy and set up a PPI as soon as possible before someone else snatches it away...

Exactly. It was more out of principle at that point...wasn’t going to pay a penny over what he’d agreed to initially.

Yeah, but its kinda stripped down other than the m-sport package. No heated seats or xenons makes it a BMW I wouldn't own.

Yah, that Lemans is pretty much perfect - if it was RWD, had roof rails, rear sun shades and HK speakers it might be 100%. Love that it has no iDrive to break/date the car and those manual seats...such a low seating position without all the motor mechanisms to break. It did have some significant paint/scratching issues and the guy used it as his dog hauler so there was some wear in the rear area when he sent me a bunch of detailed pics. Like I said, for his ask I was sold...once he started playing games...sorry bud.

Here is one I previously owned (was third owner) - also no iDrive and a great spec. Surprised to see how well the oyster interior has worn for the past three years since the guy I sold it to owned it. Once again, another really rare car - surprised two of these e91 unicorns are on sale at the same time! These guys are going for EAG-like pricing, but best of luck!

Hey folks - so I found a 2007 E91, 6MT, white exterior, 279,000 miles. I think black interior and RWD, but can't remember. I think $5,000? The owner posted just a few pictures on craigslist, with no description, but I saw the stick shift so I texted him last week and he finally replied today saying it is still available.

If you're ok with the miles, PM me, and I'll share the contact information - the listing has expired, so I can't post a link. Obviously, at least I think it's obvious, I would like this to sell to a forum member who has (i) been searching for awhile, and (ii) plans to do something cool with it, so please share anything you think I should know. Bought it this past weekend after a mostly positive PPI from a nearby mechanic. Link no longer works, but it is a 2010 RWD e91 with iDrive and dark gray paint, and 168,000 miles on the odometer.

Thank you to those that have contributed to this thread. It gave me insight on the model, guidance for the PPI, and courage to buy the car from 1,100 miles away.

A similar car (maybe a little nicer) sold on BaT for $30k, with a clean title of course. I think outside of that alternate reality its a $25k car without the branded title - and somewhere in the $15-18k range depending on what history comes with it - if no service history, you may be elbows deep in that thing catching up.
