So Motor Werks barrington wanted my car to do reprogramming/recall/oil change and what not. I dropped it off Wednesday morning, and I still haven't gotten it back. Now they're saying I should have it back by tomorrow.

Any of you get this done, and how long did it take?

Are they just reprogramming or giving you a new pump? I never had a pump replaced by them, but even for "scheduled" maintenance they would always keep my car overnight. If they were actually performing repairs I wouldn't doubt it could take a couple days

They didn't say anything about replacing anything, just programming. I guess we'll see tomorrow. This is my first 'scheduled maintenance' with BMW, so I didn't know what to expect. Thanks!

omg, roommate mixed this jungle juice perfectly, put a full bottle of 151 in and you can't taste it at all. A lot of bad decisions are going to be made here as a result of this.

Signing out for the night fellas.

I couldn't offer them to you after the fact because you didn't want to pay what I needed.

Again, I honestly hate that you feel upset. I'm sorry I made you feel that way.

I had 3 sets inquired on and ready to be sent to you but you told me 3 days ago that you already bought some so I said ok I'll just compensate you for them obviously. You didn't give me a chance to say I had OEM's lined up for you because you went and bought them yourself.

I told you I was stretching at the moment but if I remember correctly when you said the OEMs you went and bought wouldn't even be there for another week or so I sent you back a PM saying if thats the case then I can get you the $1800 you were looking for since it would be a week or so later than expected. If you had let me get you the OEM set up like originally planned, this wouldn't have even been an issue as I would have taken care of that part and given you your original asking price.

I'm just honestly shocked that you didn't have the decency to not only let me know what was going on and then on top of that act like I wasn't even that serious about the sale. Totally uncool man, people don't do that around here and when they do they get flamed pretty badly for it. I had 12 PM's about my wheels, all saying they have cash in hand and are ready to buy them ASAP. I turned them all down because the 1st guy that PM'd me said he wanted them but wanted to come by the shop and look them over before buying them (and since your last communication with me was saying there would be a week delay on getting your OEM's I told him to wait to come by till it was convenient for him instead of rushing). I could have easily sold them to someone else who didn't even care, they took me at my word of them being perfect and the tires being brand new. However I didn't because the 1st guy said he was very interested in them and I said ok since I am a man of my word, I stuck to that. If he would have flaked I would have gone down the list.

I'm not saying I don't understand WHY you took that deal, it was super easy for you to do but at the same time the 30+ PM's you and I sent to each other about this deal should have also played into this somewhat and you could have at least contacted me and told me the situation to see if maybe I would be willing to get you the same deal or better because you knew I'd been serious about them since last week.

Shame on you man, that move was not only about as selfish as you can get but just down right childish.
