Generally anyone can get into those "hidden" menus (at least on most TVs) and there are forums for various TVs as to how to best tweak the settings depending on your s/n that tells you which exact panel you have crossed with your firmware or whatever version. I did it on my Samsung 7 series, and I do agree, adjusting that makes an already great TV look amazing.

What TV do you have that you couldn't get into the settings? Did Mike have to use some kind of tool hooked into the TV?

I have Samsung HL67A750 LED DLP. He has a device that sits in the middle of the TV screen. That is hooked up to his computer. He then has a DVD that he runs through my PS3. It has all kinds of colors that are put on the tv screen. His computer then tells how the color balance is. Really cool to watch. My TV was definitely off on the white balance and to much blue and not enough red. He did get the code to get into the service menu off of an AV forum.

I went on an audio video forum and also used google search and found a calibration site online, tried out about 3 different values and BAM it looks amazing.
