I'll start looking into socal then. My mom may be able to get us a condo in ft lauderdale for free (to us) so Florida is still an option. Right now the the flights are the same price between so cal and so flo so it's just the hotel that's the issue now.

parker - Consider doing a timeshare sales visit. Check into Mariott Vacation Clubs. You buy the airfar, they'll usually give you a place for 2-3 nights, you just have to listen to a sales presentation. 2-3 hours usually. Say no (seriously, NO!), and you get a cheap vacation.

Hey Parker, Laurie is looking and she is having a hard time finding anything. By chance is the wedding date around spring break? That could be a problem if it is.

Park I have a hook up in Orlando (good friend) if you don't mind getting a car. There are plenty of beaches within an hour from there (Coco) or it's a 3 - 4 hour drive to Miami / The Keys. Let me know if you need any ideas for Beaches or activities out there, I lived there for 3 years so I know central - southern FL pretty well.

Mine went to 4 degrees when I backed out of the garage. It was a balmy 8 degrees when I got to work.
