Took my car back to service person, because after clutch replacement, radio sound/phone/bluetooth do not work!

Anyone elses gear selector have some side to side play and a lot of lateral play? Just curious

There also seems to be a weird tin rattle almost like its from the exhaust that you can hear on light acceleration or at a constant cruising speed. This was present on both my and my buddys car

Mine has a tiny amount that all my cars have had. Probably driving in manual mode all the time doesn't help.

I believe this is the Inner DISA valve. Car runs perfect, idle doesnt move when at a stop.
Did mine at the weekend. DISA flap was flapping all over the place :-( Horrible job. Getting the intake manifold out isn't bad. But if you have an early car with the metal rocker cover putting in a new CCV valve is a total nightmare. With hindsight I should have upgraded to the new plastic valve cover with built in CCV, there's one hose from the valve cover to the intake manifold and this is SO much simpler. Attaching the CCV hoses was just a huge pain.

Now that it's fixed I can feel a good bit more power between 2.5k and 3.5k before the big valve opens and the VANOS really kicks in.

BMW made both DISA valves connectors identical, label them. I had to use INPA to cycle them and identify which was which.

Decided to add some more weight to the ole girl. Haven't had these hooked up in 6-7 years, but I found a couple places making e90 boxes so figured what the heck since I've already upgraded all the other speakers inside the car. Unfortunately the amps I had were both doa after testing so it'll be another couple weeks til the replacement comes in and can get installed. They're JL 12w6v2's. I still need to find that left trim piece and get the mesh grilles put on. So far so good tho, the box turned out pretty darn nice for the price. Still allows access to my empty spare tire hatch.

I went to the junkyard to pull a 330xi 6 speed manual transmision (for my 328xi ) Unbolted the whole thing and when I was going to pry it out I realized the casing was damaged

On the upside I got a basically new transfer case actuator and a 3 stage manifold

Finally fixed my cold start issue. Outlet side IC pipe was loose enough to leak oil from blow by. Also replaced my VCG after I saw that it was smoking in the rear of the engine bay

Got a nice piece of metal in one of my rear tires. Thankfully I had a spare and a jack with me.

That's what I was going for 🤙🏼

It's much more drastic in person, in fact the camera even had a hard time with the details on my old ones so I brightened it up a bit
