I've had the same one, but black and with a built-in 110V strip, for several years now. It's been holding up well despite all its dents and scratches. I like the modular attachment offerings for it. I have the metal peg board on mine now with a matching shelf. Great bang for buck, just wish the casters were a bit beefier.

While I was sanding a mirror frame yesterday, my sander suddenly slowed way down, then smoke started pouring out from the motor.

Just ordered a replacement Dewalt 1/4 sheet, comes with a carrying bag. There were none at Home Depot yesterday, but one should be on my doorstep tomorrow.

I have the same one, too, but in black. 46"? I put a small vice on mine.

After a few "explosions" in the gas oven that scared the caca out of the better half, I Googled the symtoms and the culprit was identified as the oven igniter.

Their life span is about 8 years, mine was over 12 years old.

The High Pressure Fuel Pump died on the Porsche - $1400 for the part, 2 weeks waiting for it, and 10 hours of my time to replace it.

The joys of ownership.

Not sure what you're speaking about? Every stock quick jack picture lifting a Porsche is the same way I have it.

If it's to keep the hoses out of the way from where I was working - the HPFP was directly under the middle and I accessed from both front and back. Please explain...

Oddly though, just saw this (attached). Seems to be a discrepancy on how these are used with a 911. Only thing to note, mine's a 981 (mid-engine), not a 991 (rear-engine). I do try to rock the shit out of the car when it's an inch off the ground. It was solid. But - something I'll keep in mind going forward.

Inovelli White Series switch. This has Thread protocol, so it'll work with Apple Homekit. I installed it already in my garage, but the light it controls flickers badly now. Still waiting to hear back from Inovelli on possible fixes for that.

This was a Kickstarter purchase from way back in Dec 2023. Finally got here.

Curse you! I just received the shipping notification for mine an hour ago, and I'm not expecting to receive it before early next week.

Regarding the flicker, do you have it hooked up to neutral in the switch electrical box?????

No neutral. Just load, line, and ground. As simple as it gets. I'm not thrilled with the light fixture, so I can replace it. But I want to make sure I don't buy something else and also have it flicker. Inovelli says if the light is less than 25W, it needs a bypass for the fixture. But this light is supposedly 55W.

EDIT: Someone just posted on the Inovelli forum that this dimmer switch, even though you can set it to just be an On/Off switch, still works like a dimmer and therefore may not work well with non-dimmable LED lights. I have a track light setup in my garage that is dimmable and currently has an Aqara dimmer switch. I'll swap it out tomorrow with the Inovelli and see if it behaves.

The new windows for the project house arrived today! The doors and patio door haven't shown up yet but that's ok, I'm not ready for them yet.
