Lol that’s me in the 20 comment debate 😂 I checked the U.S. site and for the model info for the M240 it does state it has a 48v mild hybrid. Thinking it may just be a US thing at this point.

My M240i Xdrive is scheduled for a week 40 build. When I get the info, I'll post it up.

If I had to bet, I would say the 24 isn't getting the 48V. Something would have leaked by now.
On the other hand - with all the people who just purchased a 23, and all the people who are still waiting for their 23 to be delivered , might be some blowback and sour grapes towards BMW. So perhaps BMW isn't in a big hurry to divulge that information .... |

another paragraph direct from bmw What type of engine is in a 2 Series Coupe? The engine of a 2 Series Coupe varies by model. The 230i Coupe models include a 2.0- liter inline 4-cylinder engine, while the M240i Coupes have a larger, more powerful 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder with 48V mild-hybrid technology engineered by BMW M. |

Best to show us a picture of the centre console if it has the ASS button and also a shot under the hood where the cables for mild hybrid should be.

Spot on. Even my 2016 M135 had this so it’s been around for ages. Less energy lost to a continually spinning alternator if it has a clutch to disengage.

Bridgestone. All-season run-flats. 225/40 all around. Really wish I would have ordered the Performance non-run flats.
Also, I just noticed there is no "third climate zone" for the back seat area. Just the vents themselves. No temp. adjustment if that makes sense. I saw the M2 guys mention that for their 2024s. Guess we lose it too. Not a feature I care about, but others might. |
