Forgot to mention some cool things:
My boss has a 1-year old 5 series and he says the BT functionality in the 2006 (e.g., my car) is much better than his. Audio quality is better, and we can bond multiple phones to the car, he believes he can only bond 1. |

Blackberry 7250
My 325 was delivered to the west coast in July. The dealer told me that my Blackberry was not compatible with BMW Bluetooth. I tried it anyway when I took delivery of the car. My Blackberry 7250 (Verizon) was immediately recognized and has been working ever since. It does not download the phonebook, but I have added those names as stored voice commands.

The one problem i'm having with my E815 is that when i used the voice command to dial by name it keeps telling me my phone book is empty. but when i look at my phone book on the readout, it lists my phonebook. Is anyone else experiencing this problem or have a resolution?

E815 Verizon Phone
Has anyone had a problem connecting with the E815? My Sales person says she has had problems. I was just about to buy one, any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!

Has anyone else had the Nokia 7610 working? I've just tried today and can't get the phone to recognise the car or vice-versa. Are there any foolproof guides out there? (Besides the manual which came with the car..)

Scrap that, for some odd reason it's just started working. No phonebook download but it dials out just fine. It does connect & disconnect a few times though when it's not in use - just set the car as a trusted device on the phone and all seems well. Panic over!

Blue tooth Compatibility
I have just had my E90 delivered. This Bluetooth thing is a pain.
I was under the impression any bluetooth phone worked with the car I know different now. The phones that are compatible are rubbish I have had to down grade my phone to get it to work. |

What phone did you have that didn't work?
What did you downgrade to?

BLUE TOOTH COMPATIBILITY
I have a samsung E720i which the car bluetooth will not pair with at all
After looking at the recommendations from BMW i purchased a cheap Sony Ericsson T630 which is ok. I fancied the 750i but I didnt want to spend £285.00 on a phone that didnt work like my samsung. Does any one have a 750i that works? |

never mind, i figure it out guys/gals. On the v330 phone, under bluetooth link, select Handsfree, then select Look for Devices. This is the step I did not do, from there the phone will recognize the car bluetooth and diplayed the passkey which you use to enter on the car bluetooth for security reason. Sweet...

Imate can be paired but after that, it doesn't work. First, it can't download contacts, it's not handsfree and when you receive calls, it will disconnect from your car. I gave up so ill just buy a treo 650

I got a (Verizon) Motorola E815 which is Moto's latest and it is sweet! Paired up with no problems, address book and all. It is also on BMW's "approved" list.
I was going to get a Razr but I didn't want to change services. Verizon is too good to leave, IMO. I'd also heard from several Razr users that they don't function as good as they look. |
