ok, seems you guys prefer early in the morning so I would suggest we meet at 8:30am and chat for awhile and start our journey at 9am, deal?

12th, 8:30am , great. It is the standard chartered marathon day which is for charity. We probably won't have conflicts with the marathon route, it seems to be even a good day to do the E90 meet.

We will have our first meet in Feb, one of the sunday at 8:30am (place is either Canton road or the West Kowloon Heliport near the MTR Kowloon station. Please check which Sunday that you CAN NOT attend:

Not good to clash with the Marathon because they will block almost all roads on the west side of HK (from Canton Road -> Western Kowloon Highway -> Tsing Ma Bridge then return -> Western Harbour Tunnel to Wanchai) in the morning. Unless our meet is in the Eastern part of HK.

A bit crusmy to do the first time in HK Is., as too many traffic lights and little highways that the E90 can line up.
The golf driving ranch in Ma On Shan has a very nice mountain view as background for cars shootings; but the place is far, so it may not be appropriate for a first meet where we want max. showups

We can later check the time TD will block 'our' route.
TD (The marathon day has not been shown on the TD web site yet.)

We will choose the route you suggested for the first meet since there are not much traffic lights and plenty of highways.

Guys, some photos of the HK E60/90 Meet yesterday.

We had 6 E60 and 2 E90.

Unluckily, weather was not so good. Hope the weather will be better for our 1st E90 Meet in Hong Kong!!

No la!! I need to take care of my small kid (in one of the picture) and my wife to go shopping for Chinese New Year yesterday.
I just tried to be there around 11am, say Hi and take some photos.

i did. It's good to know & chat w/ a bunch of bimmer enthusiasts! The cold & drizzle have drawn the police away, i've floored my car since it always begs me for higher speed. So i was running like 180 km/h.
