They did. And everything was cool until Monday. It then bitched that the pads were worn and needed to be replaced immediately. Guessing it's a duff sensor or water ingress.

How's it feel with the Billy steins sleepy?
Unfortunate you needing a water pump, did you do the suspension & then have the pump issue? No issues or expenses other than petrol for me during February, although I have spent a bit extra on petrol. There has been some nice dry mild days & the missus & I have been down to the coast for a drive & days out a few times. We managed to find some nice empty roads & I was up & down the box in sports manual with the windows down & big grins on our faces

Is that "oh my, they're awesome" or "oh my, my eyes hurt"?

Almost got out of another month with zero dollars cost but the front left wheel speed sensor crapped out on me. Sent my entire ABS system into a loop so just waiting on the part to be delivered and I'll have it fixed.
Total Cost : $35

That's an incredible price.
I've spent £0 on it this month. Including petrol. Got oil service, brake fluid change and walnut blast next month though plus train tickets to drop off and collect it an I'm at £500 |

Dann would you mind letting me know if the walnut blast makes any difference. I'm at nearly 103k now & cars never had it done. My cars running fine at the moment just wondering if getting it done would make any difference. My indie guy says not to bother unless the cars running rough or feels down on power

Will do.
Mine runs really rough so I'm hoping it stops that, it also burps and coughs a bit on idle.

Hasn't cost me anything, apart from an Autotrader advert! No idea what's coming next, but shortlist is LCI E90 M3, F10 M5, Alpina B3/5 or, if I'm feeling brave, E61 M5.

How much is the walnut blast dann? I was quoted £250 to have mine done, am just unsure whether to bother or not. If the car was running rough I'd have a reason to get it done. I would be a bit miffed if I had it done & didn't notice any benefit.
We drove to Margate today as the sun was out & I was getting 37mpg until I spoilt it & got into a little duel with a 440i

Cost to my wallet since December - £0
That said, its only nothing because I sold her Cost to my pride? Emotionally bankrupt. Driving a 2004 Honda accord 2 litre auto until I can upgrade again. Every day is a reminder why my beemer was driving heaven. My back hurts from the awful seat, my ear drums have ruptured from the constant rattling noises and my joints have fallen apart from the 4 spent shocks and cheap 15" rubbers. The upside? I now know what it's like to drive around constantly with my pedal mashed on the floor and the VTEC screaming whilst never worrying about a speeding fine. Another great upside is I now know to never take for granted the amazing fuel economy a beemer gives for its power output. 18 mpg when you're not moving quick, living in luxury or having fun is not the way to go clearly. The irony? I got rid because my beemer was costing almost 400 a month in bills lol. Ah well, not long till my backside is kissing soft heated e92 leather again hopefully! |

My view is that it will need doing at some point and I'm unlikely to need to do it again with the mileage I do. |
