Yeah, it looks like you can build some math functions to account for grade. But looks like you would need to calculate the grade first and apply the correction, so it doesn't appear to do it automatically.

Interesting the DDE is pulling injector duration. I wonder if this signal could be intercepted with a piggy back to limit the DDE's interference. If the tune or piggyback can be tweaked to allow power to climb until the rev limit, it looks like power output above 4500 would be incredible, especially without opening the engine.
Intercept the O2 sensor for smoke limit "tuning". It is a current source signal, so not just any piggyback will do that. Need one specifically for wideband, current source sensors.

I've seen it posted on graphs. Not sure if it requires additional tools or programming though.
VBOX's GPS tries to measures height with every sample. Slope is a criteria for results acceptance/accuracy.
BTW, TDIwyse's drag strip is a downward slope!
If you can call 4 feet over the course of a 1/4 mile a "slope".
Well under the maximum 1% slope criteria required for error correction.

Ah, thanks for the tip.

Do you think an O2 signal modifier would do the trick or would the DDE freak out?

Diode and call it a day?

335d mods

I've read quite a few of your forums TDIwyse and I finally got a 2011 335d myself. I want to stay with stock turbos but I'm open to all other mods. Your quater mile times are impressive I was wondering if you could assist me with my mod list? Much appreciated

This forum is a great archive of many peoples experiences and filled with great info. Lots and lots of things to search, read and learn. I stopped modifying my 335d over a year ago and don't plan to upgrade anything further unless something breaks.

At this point you can find pre-made hardware mods, well integrated with DDE programming, from well established vendors. If you're sticking with stock turbo's, that simplifies choices and reduces cost substantially.

And learn to use TestO and Torque with DWR's custom PIDs and log data ...
