Is it the front track being much wider now? The chassis bracing?

I'm asking because I'm coming from C7 Corvette and Camaro SS 1LE, both of which had no bad handling vices on track. I hope I'm not going to be disappointed with the G87. I know it will be a much better road car, but will it disappoint on track?
I honestly don't know, the two cars drive nothing alike. Im painfully trying to rack up miles to get this dumb run in service done in time for the first event to see what this thing is really like. My apex wheels and re71rs are just sitting in the garage waiting lol. I've said this somehwere before, but the g87 just feels more supported, I don't know if its the wider track width or a lower center of gravity, but it just feels like night and day to me.

A 600 horsepower 3550 lbs. G87 will be substantially faster than the GT4. Hell, just throw some Cup2Rs on the car and it will match or lets be honest, be faster than the GT4.

What size Apex wheel/tires did you decide on? And do you have the MP Suspension? Did you test fit the track wheels/tires for rubbing?

(Sorry - I feel like a vampire, but trying to learn as much from you as I can - my car will not get here in time for track this year)

I run in "stock" classes which limit wheels to +/- 1 inch diameter and +/- 7mm et from stock. Also no MPHAS as the first person who shows up with it in stock class will be the owner of a new rule that bans it lol. With that said I went with 19x9.5ET25(going to run a 12mm spacer) and 19x10.5ET18. First round of tests is 275/35 square as I had some tires laying around, ultimately I'm going to go with 285/35 square. This is all scca solo specific, so not exactly common for normal people who just want to play with cars lol. If I were to buy track specific wheels I would just rock 19x11s or 18x11 and drop 305/19s on it or 315/18s on it.

Gotcha. Let us know how it works out. I got a G80 take off set of G80 826M stock sizes, but combined 18 lbs lighter. They came with brand new PZeros. So, I'll have to burn through those, plus whatever tires come on my G87, before I look at tires.
