20L of E85 and tank filled up.... bloody thing is hella loud and craCKles and pOPs like mad ... there is a bad ass rattle on acceleration as well, sound like its vibrating the hell out of something in the rear, might be the silver heat shield under the boot. Minor bug to be ironed out...

Thanks guys....... sound is fine while cruising, but when WOT it is a bit OTT
On the upside I found out what was causing the rattle when under low acceleration!!! Turned out to be the roll back lid on the little compartment that sits between the rear passenger seats..... The bloody things rattles from the low bass growl. Sounds like ball bearings in the transmission !!!! Open the lid and the rattle disappears. Thanks to Jin from Active who identified the problem right away... Last edited by Socket; 04-21-2015 at 08:34 AM.. |

LOL! I found that out on mine too when I installed DPs and did the golf-tee mod - of course, nowhere as loud as yours though but still had that rattle. Solved it by stuffing one of those bouncy balls in there and shutting the lid - cured it straight away!

Good question Wooshy, almost finished the things I set out to do on page 1.
Pretty sure there's a point where a project is done and adding more just detracts from it..... that point is probably somewhere between installing super RBs and M3 sports seats with tri coloured stitching |

Thanks for the tip JJ. BTW do I have to crimp the air line or can I just unplug the connector behind the tail light? |
