If you used the USB script to download the 1B file, it may not "grab" the right part of the hex file (which means the keys in the file are not correct)

a) It seems to be that the file you sent me for download is exactly the same as I modified
(just changing at offset x1A the VIM data), that I had already tested and didn't work.
In fact your 1b file genereates the same code as my previous test.

What I realised seeing the 1b file you interchanged with Axlbmw is:
original one: ...... 123456. 1234567.x.1234567............200
the modified: ...... 773487. 2873863.x.C096398............200
bytes changed: at offsets x'08' x'10' and x'1A'

At the same way, the files interchanged with me were:
original one: ...... 123456. 1234567.x.1234567............200
the modified: ...... 123456. 1234567.x.E457511............200
bytes changed: at offset x'1A' only

I thought offsets x'08' and x'10' were also to be modified and the reason to ask your for help.

YES, I used the USB script created by 'portalseo' to extract the 1b from the car.

At a previous Post, your also wrote:

Sorry, Do you have a way to download the full file from the car in order too 'cut out' properly ?

That's fantastic, thanks very much, I will give this a go!
I've checked my friends car and although his is CIC, it doesn't have the tick and 'i' symbol on the navigation screen. Can I update his by following the same procedure but just loading the relevant map data onto three separate DVDs?

I have 2011 328xiDrive Sedan with Prof NAV CIC.
I created USB with new MAPs and plugged into glove box USB port and nothing happened. I copied every folder and file under each package folder and placed it in the root directory on the USB. OR Do I need to copy ONE at a time each USB/DVD PKG (4) times in each Part 1 thru 5? That's copy and plug in USB pkg 20 times?

but need the LIFETIME FSC Code
The Vin# is F305100 produced 2014-02-28

Will it work for these EntryNav system and if yes which button to press CIC, BBT, EVO

Sorry, the generator does not work for Route or Motion maps, as those aren't available in North America, so I don't have access to vehicles with those systems.

I am currently working on adding support for NBT-EVO ID5/6, for those with newer vehicles than I can possibly afford :P
