In that case, I agree with your review, the final CANbus maps are smoother and better overall but not necessarily more powerful than the BETA CANbus.

Still a pretty big change from the 2-19 maps IMHO though...

IS there a noticeable difference between the beta canbus maps 3-24 to the 4-22 maps? I hear alot of comparison to 2-19 maps but what about the 3-24 comparison?

I feel better feel/power on the low-end. Car just accelerates faster and smoother. To me 4-22 map is by far the best.

I remember a member tried these maps on his Rev.I Non Canbus and said he felt the diff too.

Can this member chime in for an update? Really curious as to how it holds up, is there any codes thrown yet?

Anyone else tried running these maps on their Rev.I ? Not sure if it's a good idea.......

My plugs are brand new. One of my injectors is new and still misfiring. I had 1000k's on 1 set of plugs, had issues, car went in for service, came out and i replaced the plugs again just to be sure. On the race map I get misfires still. Looking forward to trying this new map out! I have 5 gals of 104Octane in my garage CALLING MY NAME!!!!!
(And a list of cars that need to get my exhaust! )

Anyone know how much extra is there from the non-CANbus 2-14 maps? Shiv when is the auto-tune feature going to be available? Does it take into consideration cold start, and is valet mode still there? Valet mode is important so hopefully its not been ditched.

In the datalog you can see a comparison between stage 0 non DD 85%ut and Can bus stage 1 70%ut (on Rev I, of course).

In a VI gear acceleration from 45 to 82 mph with the new maps you can gain 0.4 seconds, so the advantage at low rpm (1500-3000) is real... and you can feel it beside the numbers.

No significant gain above 3000 rpm.

Other things to notice:

-Fuel correction seems to be higher with better (lower) A/F (IMHO)

-Boost levels are almost identical (a little bit higher on canbus)

-Overall timing is not so stable on N54, but Procede correction over boost seems to be the same, very low, on both maps (maybe on true canbus things are different but no one has performed logs...)

-Timing correction off boost is more "erratic". On non canbus it stays always on +4deg. On canbus seems to stay on "0" by default and +4 status is induced only after a relevant sustained boost value. After the activation it tapers slowly again to 0 if no boost is requested.

-Detection codes everywhere with canbus (very rare on non DD at 85%)

I hope this can help.
