Can you do this with xenon drls?

Do you have some kind of price list? Wouldn't mind getting a few things coded.

Most of coders have done it on xenon DRLs and I have done it on Halogen headlights DRLs.

Took 2 hours to crack it but finally done it. Now there is slight difference in their appearance. I will post photos later.

I don't charge for coding mate - I'm not a pro so it's just mates helping eachother out as far as I'm concerned. I just ask people to make a donation to a charity that is close to my heart.

It's def poss with xenons, off the top of my head it's about changing the cake of a couple of entries from wert_1 to wert_3 or something along those lines. I only found out today you can do it with halogens tho!

Mate, nobody gave importance to LCI halogen headlights and hence nobody tried it. Since I had it and I looked into it.

I just looked at your signature and you have standard yellow lights. I would not recommend to increase their brightness.
The reason is that normal yellow lights dissipate more heat than SMD/ LED and there would be a risk of getting your halo rings melted.
Mine is white LED and they are safe to play with.

On xenon it is much better. You can get your DRLs coded to be full bright with parking lights and full beam as well.

Pm me your wish list and I will see if I can get those things coded.
Thanks.

Here is normal halo rings.

And coded halo rings.

Difference is more with xenon halo rings as they transmit light better than Drls on halogen lights and any difference on those would be more obvious.

Hi Makkan. I've been reading up on various coding posts (i'm new to this) and have read that you have to increase the voltage drastically to visually improve the look of the LCI halogen headlight halos. This was not recommended which is why I didn't look further into it.

What voltage are your LEDs running at?
I can see a difference in your pics but is it any more noticeable in daylight?

Also as an aside, I will be looking at coding my standard LCI professional HU to Hi-Fi thanks to your research!

Contact your local BMW dealer and ask them if you are allowed to have one.
ASAIK, it will void your warranty (you have 2010 car).
If you are still happy to risk it, then you will require part number 65836976389 (activation code), few cables and a swith to enable this.

Or you can buy codes from some people in Russia and Eastern european countries at a reasonable prices.

It is not as simple as you think and requires bit of patience, research, money and time.

All the best.
