LOL! That would probably be me if its on beyond.ca
I'm surprised not that many people have offered anything from Calgary. I thought more people would have interest on the Vorsteiner stuff and the exhaust.

I like the Aero lip a lot judging by your avatar you used to have it? I'm now looking for 19" bmw wheels because i'm not messing around with my suspension so fancy wheels just wont look as good.

Yea I had both the Aero and the Vorsteiner. I think its just personal preference. I liked them both, but Vorsteiner lip a bit more.

edit: check out this link when I had both

RWD + N54 + Freezing Rain = epic failure!

I have first hand experience of this .. today. On Barlow Trail north of the airport, I had a very hard time keeping the car in a straight line.. must have looked funny to onlookers.

This is the first and last winter I will be using my 335i. The drifting is fun, but trying to get moving in snow and ice is not

Did you have a good set of winter tires? I drove the e92 everyday slammed with a set of blizzaks. Just have to be careful.

Crowchild Trail is one of the worst roads right now. I try to avoid it as much as possible. Hopefully they fix it this summer.

If Someone in Calgary is interested, I would sell these Vorstiner parts for a good price. I would rather sell these locally then shipping it.

Brand new Blizzak LM-60 .. fantastic on dry roads, but hopeless on anything else.

I made a poor judgement at the beginning of the winter season -- I originally purchased Nokian Hakks, but they were horrible on dry roads to the point where they felt unsafe.

So I exchanged them for the LM-60s .. little did I know the roads would be permanently icy/wet/snowy all winter long. The Hakks would have definitely suited this winter better.

Oh well ... live and learn. It really sucks to have Corollas on all seasons whizzing away from me at a stop light.

Tires in Edmonton / Calgary

Or along the Hwy 2 corridor really.

I'm going to be needing to replace the Bridgestone RFT's on my 162's soon. Not sure what I want to do (to RFT, or not RFT, that is the question) but I'll need to do something. I'm still relatively new to Edmonton and the only thing I have figured out is that I don't want to be buying anything from Bavaria BMW.

Suggestions anyone?

Personally if your in edmonton i suggest get non RFT + spare tire only because the roads are rough there i just came back from the weekend pot holes cracks everywhere I dont remember it being as bad last year but who knows. If you get run flats used make sure you are okay to pay 200+ to install them due to the stiffness and installation without damaging the tires/rims. I'm looking into non-RFT however going the same size 225/40/18 F 255/35/18 R doesn't look like it would look the same so I may consider wider but i didn't SEARCH enough yet to find out what others recommend. My last suggestion you drive a BMW so dont cheap out on tires because they are heavier and perform differently then your usual Acura so getting 20-25K on a new set isn't all that terrible haha.

I had one of my OEM RFT Potenzas fixed at kal tire, a little while ago. They didn't charge me a penny which I was surprised about because I did not buy tires from them. I did however get him to check up on prices for me. I have the OEM 260 style 19's...For pirellis he quoted me 225/35/19 fronts at $589/ea and 255/30/19 rears $683/ea. I laughed at him. lol Tire rack sells same tires for just under $400 for the rears, $150 shipping for all 4.

Anyone have any ideas about a good place to get some locally at a not so ridiculous price?!

After 5 weeks of waiting I was finally able to ditch my halogens and put in some LEDs with perfect fitment.
These lights were fitted with the housing and works on all e90/e91/e92/e93 and no errors.

Let me know what you guys think.
