See here, the boost keeps building till MAP limit above the target +10psi. I tied to use Map 6 with 8PSI and it still shot up to about 18psi. I have tried a number combinations in the software no joy. I will be checking the pluming again this weekend.

recheck your waste-gate hose routing. or disconnect the waste-gate lines and run straight spring to see if the gate is functioning correctly.

So I removed the 50MM Wastegate and placed the new smaller profile wastegate right below the downpipe. I will be doing some testing to see if it is still overboosting and report back.

Your gate should be much closer to the turbo.
Place the wastegate at the vband next to the turbo then make yourself a dump tube having the wastegate closer will help you control boost better also I would make sure you got the correct hz boost solenoid. Temporary test you can please one of the stock ones that the car has to control the stock turbos. |

Make sure you have the ports wired properly if not car will build unlimited boost. Be very careful!!! On the other forum if you search jb4 single turbo there is a schematic for solenoid connections for the Mac solenoid and a link to witch one to use.

A easy test would be to remove all vacuum from wastegage and see if it opens up around the same psi as the spring that you have installed so if you have a let's say 15lb spring it should open near that. |
