That's the branch rubbing it's warranty hands together. Big bucks in these claims.

In all honestly, this is completely legitimate and something that BMW, as a massive producer of 'ultimate driving machines' should fix at their expense. It's really a drop in the ocean to a company with assets of 80 billion Euros

I'm sure that if the dealership found something else not related to the actual work involved they would advise you accordingly.
Everything they do to the car to carry out the 'enhancement' will be under the manufacturers warranty claim process with the dealership. You would not incur charges.

My 2010 LCI is on 80k but I didn't buy it from a BMW dealer; can I still get this covered by BMW?

Went to BMW cooper Teesside today, and no recalls came up for my engine. Even though mine is correct engine number. Bit strange, anyway else I could check it ??

Mine's in now. Got a 218d M Sport as a courtesy car. strange looking for a BMW,but nice none the less. It was funny when I picked the missus up from work. First thing she said "this doesn't look like a BMW!" LOL
