clearly you guys are doing it wrong. i have some personal stuff do deal with. i will see if i can post to both a r e a 7 4 and b i m m e r f o r u m s for the DIY with clear install and easy to follow directions tomorrow.

there is nothing wrong with the unit you are not supposed to ground to any bolt. i will fix your problems. just had problems of my own and then these forum issues. i'll hook it up all over the net.

My ses is on with this but I think I need to adjust the jb4.
It's telling me low pressure sensor, and low fuel preasure.

No other codes present

very welcome. sorry it took a bit. had tons more pics but i narrowed it down to what i felt was important. i wanted to go out get tool bit sizes i used but my kids and dog were all bugging so. i had to settle.

i maybe update with it in a bit.

sorry it took so long.....life caught me be surprise on this. not something i wanted to deal with. but nothing i could do either.

but i'm always here for the community. or install questions. this DIY should be pretty straight forward from there. we should 100% perfect installs on this.

just make sure you are securing your connections biggest thing. loose connections will not allow the cat sim to do its job.

that car is off and it doesn't cycle power during. so keys out of ignition. i think 74 tells you those things in the little pamphlet that he sends. but just to reemphasize.

i do one wire at a time. stripping one at a time. i don't let them come in contact with anything. good solid contacts and you should have thing in...in 15 minutes and working 100%.

Still no other users anything to report on this? Seems like there were a ton of orders several weeks ago. Anyone else have it installed and monitors set?

Make sure power and ground to the box have a good connection. The LED light is powered by those wires. If you are using wire taps, make sure you can see the wire split and make contact. If not help it by spreading the wires jacket open. Or use another splice method like soldering.

Kinda related Q:
N55 people and JB4 steering wheel controls:

How do you turn off autoclear of codes (menu controls 1.3 and 1.4 seem to be not working for me)

I KNOW I have CEL due to cat, but as soon as I connect JB4 up, it goes away...

Turning on map 0 also turns off auto clear.

Are you guys getting the 02 related readiness to clear just by doing the factory drive cycle? Did the cycle twice but the 02 and evap still not ready.
