Go have a margarita or something in the interim, clearly this is bothering you and there's no reason that should be the case.

We know you're wrong. As men, we just like seeing proof when we are right, otherwise it's just words and doesn't mean as much. It's not often we are right. Let us have this moment.

Anywho. Start being Ra, re-fuckin-lax, and go enjoy your second date for the sake of this thread having some real direction. Just don't give yourself up and forget the whole purpose of why you're dating, men like mystery and working for something just as much as women.

Yes I do.

One thing about women I learned it they HATE being ignored - it's interesting see things from their(your) perspective.

He's not in for a long thing. He wants some fun is all. Clear as day. You demonstrated "fun" on the first date, so now he will come around every so often and keep you at arms length since he's clearly calling the shots already.

This is the thing I hate about texting and the millennial generation; everyone expects an instant reply. The point of texting is to send a message when you can't make a phone call, or don't want to bother the other person with a call, so they may not reply right away. It seems it has gotten to the point where people can only communicate via text now.

With this guy being a lawyer, maybe he is busy meeting with a client, partners, or is in court. It's not exactly professional to send a text message in those situations even if it only takes a few seconds. If there hasn't been a reply after an extended period of time, then yeah, it probably is one of the other scenarios mentioned in this thread.

I RARELY make phone calls. The only people I really even talk to on the phone are my parents because they don't text. The only way I converse with people when not in person is thru text. I don't really know anybody that talks on the phone anymore, aside from if it's really important.

So like I said, it's getting to the point where people only communicate via text now which is sad. Sometimes I've found myself typing a novel back and forth with someone when a simple phone conversation would have been much quicker and easier. Even with emoticons, it is not always easy to convey humor, sarcasm, or even the point of a message compared to tone of voice or body language when face to face.

I dont know how to do this anymore.

Fuck it, I'm going to end up as a cat lady.
If it was asking out for HS prom, I agree.
I don't see any issues. Too passive can be "pass" for a guy and just go with next date lined up. Person like me might analyze,
"Oh, because I drive a Geo Metro, she is not into me."

then, I will goto UCLA Geffen School, and find a student/resident who can give me a nice .....

Personally, you did good by arranging 1st and 2nd.

Too funny, when I am interviewing people under the age of @30 I basically ask about a scenario where you have the choice of talking to someone or texting them to just not talk. They choose the later interview over. People seriously need to learn to interact anymore, languages issues aside.

It's just a lot easier and more convenient, imo. But then again, I'm only 22 and sort of grew up with it.

Can't believe you let him drive your car... I don't let girls do that even if I dated them for a year.
