i just called wagonner again (yes, i'm very impatient at this point) and they're unloading cars at bmw of fremont at the moment. i assume they stopped at mt. view before fremont.

if not, they're probably going to make a stop at all dealers in the east bay and then go over to the city to bmw of sf, down to peter pan and eventually to mt. view. either way, your car should also arrive to the dealer today.

my car is now only 40 miles away from my dealer!!

oh i hear you. the last couple of days are always the worst. i just hope my dealer doesn't sit on his ass all day today and gets my car ready for me (hoping for delivery tomorrow, fingers crossed).

I called the trucking company today. They said the car is delivered. Then I called the CA at Newport Beach, they said my car is not here! the CA said the car is still in processing center at this moment, but trucking company say my car is delivered to newport beach. So where the hell is my car? Unless they have a processing center in new port beach that I dont know about? I reallie want to tlak to my dealer's manager now ..... he has been giving me crappy service...

I'm picking my car up in Fremont! That's 3 days for non-ED cars. I'll have to wait another week I guess (hopefully sooner).
Looks like cars are getting processed pretty quick after docking, esp the ones from the Aphrodite!

It's probably delivered but their standard line is they don't have it yet until they're ready to deliver... i'm guessing...

Got an update from my CA--The car just came in, so I just need to come in and do the final paperwork. They'll need the car overnight to do the detailing, etc, so they're aiming for a Friday night hand-off...looks like it'll be a great weekend. Good luck with your car deliveries.

I agree. I would believe the trucking company. If it were me, I would take a drive over and look for it on their lot. Walk over to the service bays and see if someone is washing/detailing it, inspecting it.

i assume my car made it to my dealer by now as well. i just feel bad calling again and being obnoxious. i just hope my CA calls me when it gets there and/or is ready to be picked up. if he doesn't call by the afternoon i'll definitely call him because i really want to pick it up tomorrow.

I too, called the trucking company today. Dispatch said the truck with my car on it is sitting out in front of my dealership. I have been sitting by my phone non stop waiting for the call.. This has been the longest wait ever! Think it would be asking too much to hope for the car today?? haha!

Finally... I called my CA and yelled at them a bit and they finally get up from their lazy butt and find out that the car is already sitting in the lot... I told them to get the car ready as soon as possible cuz I am already not happy with their service..

I feel bad calling Wagonner multiple times per day. They still do not have my car, so I am definitely looking at next week. Being out of town Mon-Fri means I may get to pick it up Friday afternoon.

One would think dealers would put a little effort into the exciting and excruciating end game for the customers with ED (Special orders don't pay in full before receiving their cars, do they?).

I was also told that the dealer may take several days to get insurance claims and work done for the windshield and minor paint damage.

What he said! I picked mine up this morning. It's fabulous, but already dirty since it's raining. Yeah, we get 335 days or so of sunshine here and Johnny and I pick our cars up in the rain.

If I can get some pictures by tomorrow, I will post them. Otherwise, you guys will all have your cars and won't have to live vicariously through us.

I was just informed that the VDC does not plan to release my car until 3/3 and that the dealer won't have it to me until 3/5 AAARRRRGGGG!!!!!
