The responses from VTT have been some of the most immature I have ever seen. I forget if it was this thread or another where VTT complained about the customer being "rude"...umm what do they expect?! The customer to come pleading, when their turbos start smoking/spewing oil within a few months/weeks of ownership?!..Anybody would be mad! I mean people lose their cool when the Wifi on flights on flights stop working.

I do not know what the conversation was between the two parties, so its impossible to say if the dialogue was civil; but I have never seen a responsible vendor/service provider slam a customer/pull refund because someone left a negative comment. Sort of remind me of The Soup Nazi from Seinfeld, only this time its not funny!

My OEM turbos are fine (knock on wood), but I suppose when they go, they will most certainly NOT be replaced by VTT

Dude definitely doesn't put on a good show. Loses his cool constantly and unapologetically. Does way more harm than good for himself and his business.
However, I really do think we need to be 100% certain that he is the Tony Turbo in question in regards to the violence... He can't be the only Anthony Vargas in Cali. And if it is him, I'd imagine he'd have tried harder to 1) behave himself in public / on forums, and 2) choose a company and business name that wasn't so easily tied to a terrible act he committed, unless he really is that stupid.

bummer about the refund etc... just pay for everything with AMEX and they'll have your back. I've wanted to upgrade my turbos for a while now but it really doesn't seem like a good option anymore. RB and VTT fail quickly most of the time and are known for poor service and they seriously conduct themselves like children, Pure has yet to be proven reliable and the same for Hexon. Stock it is for now.

I posted this on n54tech but I might as well post it here. If I were the OP, I would make sure that he loses business because of me. I would sign up to the Mustang forum and let all of his prospective customers see how he conducts business with his BMW customers. He would absolutely lose a lot of business. I don't like for people to F with my money and I would make sure that he remembers that. My 2 cents but that is how I would respond. Luckly, I did not buy any of his shitty turbos and went with Pure.

He didn't choose the business name, and he isn't responsible for it being as large as it is today. His dad built up the business before he died. Tony is only running it into the ground.

Keep following the Google rabbit trail and you'll see that he did camera work w/ Rob Dyrdek who actually calls him Turbo Tony (see him at 5:31 of this video). Anyways, this has all been discussed at length previously.

I would however like to call a foul before it starts going down this path ( Yournamehere90. I can't stand Vargas and everything he stands for. But no matter how much someone deserves it (and Vargas deserves everything plus some that comes back his way); would be to refrain from bringing someone's deceased father into the mix. Vargas may be unethical, classless, sloppy, and a sociopathic liar. But we don't need to sink to that level on this forum. (I've seen a few other Vargas threads go that direction and its iust going too far.)

That said, I don't care if Vargas builds turbo kits that cure cancer; he will never get a penny of my hard earned money. The alarmingly constant level of disrespect he shows towards his current and prospective customers will have I and (from what it sounds like) many of you, bringing our hard earned dollars to someone else who values our business.

yeah i was going to go with vtt until i came across this thread and read all of this. Tonight i chose and went with hexon and having another shop install them for me. he lost my business which was going to be around 5k after all was said and done. glad i didn't do business with this guy. good customer service is everything!!

I didn't say anything bad about his father, in fact he must have been very good at what he did to build up such a large business and to earn good reviews on Yelp and things. Unfortunate that Tony didn't learn more of that.

As much as I despise the guy for his online character it's really a shame how he is handling his business. I mean Ken (Wedge) and I, this stuff, is our hobby not a primary Job but we treat our customer's delicately and care about our business model or whatever you want to call it.

Notice Hexon, Pure, and RB don't say much ? They let their products speak for themselves while VTT feels the need to be defensive, and compulsive all the time.
