... and still running 2.5'ish. I'm interested to know how did the rpm banjo bolt managed to disconnect itself. Any theories? Was it not tightened from the beginning?

I assume it wasn't 100% tight, which is easy to overlook when doing a turbo swap. He does seems to do a lot of high speed runs etc, maybe it just backed off. I'm glad that's all it was, it's always nice when it's something simple, especially when you need to drive back home.

I didn't fully tighten the clamp on my emp sensor a while back, when on the dyno at BPC, the hose popped off and there were flames and smoke everywhere. We all thought the worst but, it was just the hose and clamp. I was relieved.

Jarek and Andrew have my other DDE at the moment and doing some updates to it. Might be able to get a little more top end out of it with an update.

I am confused about that banjo bolt and how it worked loose. I am (almost) certain I tightened it down when finishing the turbo swap. But as 335dsleeper discussed, there's sooooooo many things to connect/tighten that I may have over looked it and didn't do the final tightening sequence. Or I might not have tightened it "enough". I'm pretty cautious with banjo bolts due to having one break on me in a previous vehicle. I'll be regularly checking that banjo bolt connection for the foreseeable future....

10000000000+

I missed a few things, to include the HP oil line orientation, which cost me 3-5 hours to correct it. UGH

I tried one more pass with a more aggressive launch, but something was definitely wrong. Threw the same SES code (this time happend before I was 1/2 way down the track), and the EMP and Boost were way lower than they should be, and had much lower power off the line, and only managed a 118.03 mph pass.

Here is the EMP and boost behavior for passes 1 and 2 from the Torque log. Obvious problem with EMP's on the 2nd pass, and less boost on the 2nd pass (especially in the lower gears).

There's a chance for this weekend, but the weather predictions are for strong head/cross winds. I won't be going back unless the weather cooperates.

The weather changed and we didn't have a headwind on Sunday morning.

So I was able to find a pair of oem style 161s, 17x8.5 et37, only thing is most of the drag radials I've looked at in a 275 profile call for 9-11" width rims. I'm leaning towards the nitto nt05r tires, I know most nittos run narrow, do you think 8.5" wide will be okay for these tires?

I got 17x8.5, 41mm offset and rim 10mm spacers.
How low is yours?
I think you will be ok on the 275/40/17,
cause I'm going to up grade to those also...

Mine is at stock (base model) height at the moment, will be going coil overs soon but since there are purely for drag racing events I can always adjust the rears for them if need be when I use them, hoping they help my 60ft times, best yet is 1.84

Okay got out to the track tonight and the drag radials def helped for a new personal best of 12.23 @ 112.53 mph. Couple more things and some tweaks and should be breaking into the 11s soon

Nice.

Can you post a timeslip? It allows for checking the track and ambient condition specifics to better compare results.
