My car made 535whp and 500 torque when I had cobb. If you are looking for around 500whp and you already have a cobb then I would just stick with it. It was honestly very smooth and perfect for a daily driver.

2011 335IS with these mods:
COBB AP V3
VTT Inlets
VTT Stage 2+ turbos
BuraQ E70 custom tune
Charge pipe with Forge Diverter valves
VRSF Down pipes
VRSF 7" intercooler
Fuel-It Stage 2 LPFP
Stock spark plugs
Stock ignition coils

20 psi , he must have had wheel slippage on the dyno though for his torque to be that low.

Btw. Is Ken going to Etune your car ???
I am thinking dyno tuning log and tune the map accordingly at same time in one day. Got to pay extra for that but I don't have a problem with that. Still cheaper than loosing your driver license while trying to log on the street 10 times to tune the car.
I'd rather give the money to Ken
Not a chance. I've been doing my own tuning for the past two decades or so. Shouldn't need to change much aside from boost curve and target duty cycle, which is cake w/ jb4.

Just out of interest when you installed the vtt inlets did your diverter valves produce a wiered turbo flutter. Some Australian cars are having this issue but not sure if its installer error or just a result of using these less restrictive inlets. Some posts below. Actually second post is a US car. These cars both using BOV setup, so interested in getting your feedback on the DV setup which is what my car currently has. I was gona get some vtt inlets but not if it sounds like the below clip lol

edit: I cant get the links to load sorry

Link to Youtube clip of wiered turbo flutter. hopefully that works

I get a high pitched noise once air is released. It is not a flutter and doesn't sound as bad as the video. I remember reading in a thread it's a result of the hose thickness from the manifold to the diverter valves. Some guy solved his issue by using a larger line and tapping into the manifold with a larger fitting for the hose.

Okay thanks buddy.

I know sound is very subjective to individual preference, but did your high pitch sound get to a level where it got annoying and it sounded to jdm supra style? or were you able to live with it and just got use to it

Thanks

I was definitely able to live with it and my GF asked me if I could make her ecoboost mustang have the same noise .

It's a non issue for me to be honest.

I have a very, VERY light flutter/oscillation after inlets. Only under light throttle though.

The above mentioned removal of the reducer between DV/BOV and the intake manifold is the proper fix from what i've also heard. Haven't had a chance to have my intake manifold off and tap it yet though.

Alright thanks for the input guys, much appreciated. I think I might install the vtt inlets when I install the rr600s and get that additional 25-30rwhp lol. Also will get my mechanic to look at the mod to reduce the sound a little.

cheers

The inlets are almost a must if your looking for any serious power bump with RR600 according to Ken. Otherwise you will have to run lower boost which equals much lower power levels. Inlets are very easy to put in during turbo install so almost no additional labor costs at least according to my shop. It also makes sense to look into hot side outlets as they will additionally add free power without pushing things to much. MMP has preorders for their full silicone outlets. Very affordable price and they will be shipping them out by and of February.

yeh I have bought a modified 'hot side charge pipe' for rhd locally here in Aus. I was now looking at inlets and the tft ones are very pricey by the time it lands here in Aus, with the poor Aussie dollar (over 2k AUD), so thought id look into the cheaper silicon inlets, but when I heard some of the turbo flutter/ high pitch sound as a result of this upgrade I began questioning whether I should do or not, realiazing very well if I didn't I wouldn't be able to push the turbos to full potential. I have a DV setup and I liked it that way as its not to loud as a bov setup.

Thanks for the advise

My car is currently at Darren woods so having them do everything. I could get it done cheaper locally but don't want to go through anymore headache or hassle. It's being shipped via dhl and from previous experience the custom tax is very cheap. Last two occasions with dhl I paid around £3.
I've just had a package from the states delivered to me via parcelforce and the custom was £83! Most of it being tax and vat

I had a quote from DW to swap mine in but I thought it was a bit on the expensive side. If I can put aside a couple of days I will do it myself but I may end up handing it over to them. They have done my DP's a couple of times and I'm always very happy with them.
Good luck with the charges... I have asked Wayne to package mine with "specific instructions"..

Oh you've gone with the hexons? Rr600's? What other supporting mods and what tune will you go with? Keep me updated with how you get on.
