Link to the hid kit?

Wondering what the difference might be between that and more expensive hid kits available.

You can see the brass adjuster screw sticking out from behind the wires.

And more good news, woke up today to find one of the lights filled with condensation. Lol, guess I'm gonna have to take them out yet again to reseal them.

Sheeesh! I did a shitty job sealing the lights before I installed them but they've went through crazy weather and at least 5 car washes.

Good lookin for the pic tho. I'm gonna search for it after work

They fogged up by themselves? I considered buying them and heating them up to paint the eyebrow black.. But if they fog up by themselves, opening them would probably increase the condensation?

Would you recommend these headlights or it would be better to search for oem halo ones since I have halogen ones without halos?

Up to you. You can see the issues I've had. I'm sure that adding some sealant will fix the fogging issue for me. Just means that I have to take the damn car apart again to get the light out.

That's awesome, I might have to look into that. Is the cutoff still garbage against walls?

Theyre alright. The guy I bought my intake from said they started designing the cut off higher towards the right side so you can see signs on the highway. He also mention it might be from how the lenses are cut/designed.

When blocking the right low beam (at a 15 foot distance from the garage) the Left low beam is completely straight but when you do vice versa the right light was def sloped going up towards the right.

This is how they look 2 feet to the wall tho

I think you're driver side might still be a bit high. At 10ft, looks like it might shine in the face of oncoming drivers.

Yea I had them aligned with the garage door knob but those slopes won't change.

Granted they're not perfect, but they could be a hell of a lot worse. For $500 with the HID kit that's honestly not a bad outcome, especially if you can get that left beam just a tad lower.

I never post on here but this info was really useful. I gotta 07 pre LCI and changing the front to an M3 front with the hiden motorized license plate. I wanted new headlights but didn't like any conversions. Saw these on eBay and liked them. I'm already running HIDS so I really like this look.
Thanks for the pictures

So the consensus is that they get condensation easily and don't light very straight?

I think I'm the only one that has had issues. Problems with the woring inside on both my headlights and taillights. Turn signals working intermittenly and LEDS failing. Replaced both at no cost to me. Both work fine now, but one headlight did get condensation. Buy at your own risk, I can tell you the angel eyes net me a ton of compliments.

They're super bright even in broad daylight. Plenty of pictures in my build thread.

Off topic but.

You got into an E90!!
I always saw your retrofit threads on e46fanatics. I'm interested to see what your plans are for the E90.

I already did some E90 mods: Z4 Steering Wheel. Euro Rear Fog Lamp. Coded all the hidden convenience features ON. Rear & Side Sunshade. Steel Pedals.

Upcoming spring/summer projects should include a rear camera. split armrest. DCT Shifter 35is SPORT Plate. White LED angel eyes. Happy Robot (maybe). I may also do the Alpina B3 coding and chip.
