Steve:

I have installed the HID conversion kit and it works fine. However, the 4300K H7 bulbs that came with the kit seem to be a bit too long. They touch the OEM casper shield thats in the OEM housing and I am quite concerned about this.

Are the Xtreme 6000k D1S bulbs just plug-n-play after you take out
the OEM Osram Low-beams?

Thanks Ram!

umcool911ok - The D1S bulbs are literally a direct replacement for your OEM D1S bulbs.

I just tried installing your kit.. I am doing Halogen to Xenon conversion and nothing seems to be working correctly... I dont know what could be wrong....

heres my explanation..

I bought xenon housing (converting from Halogen housing) and I tried following the instruction given to me but the HID kit wont even power up... I found the ground and positive terminal but nada.. The only thing that lights up are my high beams, angel eyes, and turn signals.

This is the relay kit that comes with the HID Kit with the resister spliced.

You have to attach one end of the relay to the black wire and the other end of the relay to the white wire. This picture should show what i mean.

Hi,

I left you a message. You would need to connect this connector to your vehicle's OEM headlamp wiring.

got the kit Steve. My local shop will be trying out the relays you provided today. I'll let you know how it goes afterwards.

One question though, the relay doesn't need the extra resistor or capacitor to work? (I.E. the yellow block thing) I got the bulbs, the relay unit itself and the wiring components.

You just need to hook up the capcitor (it has to be used) and ground the wire (s) to a power source like a bolt.

The problem is that my original halogen headlights have the H7 connectors, but new Xenon headlight casing doesn't have that kind of connector.

hhm... no offense at all, but then why did you purchase this kit if you knew your housing didn't have the H7 harness ????????
