I actually uploaded a picture of Teddy (ragdoll cat) and started to match with white girls immediately. They all want to steal him smh.

I don't judge all fat individuals because I understand that many were raised in households with poor dietary habits, poor exercise habits, cultures that don't stress physical fitness (such as mine), etc. Additionally, it is just plain difficult to find time to work out once you have a spouse and kids.

With all that being said, I know a number of fat people in my age group (early 20s) who do have time to workout, and do have time to prepare healthy meals, but are just plain lazy and choose not to. I'm more stripped for time and under greater stress than them yet I prepare healthy meals, lift regularly, etc. Buzzfeed not only makes excuses for, but celebrates poor behavior. There is nothing to celebrate about being unattractive and unhealthy! These gals will be a burden on our healthcare system down the line.

Also I can attest to the poster who mentioned that the majority of overweight people are so due to their personal decisions. Even if you came from a household and culture where being healthy is not valued, once you reach a certain age it's on you to start taking accountability. I work in healthcare and most patients I see don't put any effort into diet or exercise!

You are judging them, you've just made a straightforward example of fat shaming. Forget about Buzzfeed, marginalizing everyone who is overweight as being "lazy" or "unmotivated" continues to perpetuate the idea that everyone's physiology is the same and if you're overweight you're doing something wrong.

Well, they just have the regular bio section. Usually if someone is active they can put down what they like to do there, and the pics speak for themselves.

It would be really nice if it had a filter for that kind of thing, though, since I swipe right for everyone out of laziness and I always get new matches that are all fat girls. I suppose they realize that dating apps are their only hope, since most aren't so bold in person.

Or they just assume, like everyone else, that black dudes are into obesity.
