Vessel: Grus - ETA Port Hueneme May 8

Currently unlpading a ship on the san Diego Webcam. Could be the Grus but it is hard to tell.Looks like they VW's being unloaded

I think it is a dirty lens not fog. It had been that way for days now. We shoudl call them and get them to clean it.

So how does the unloading process work? Do people just drive the cars off of the boat, park it in the lot, and then drive them on another truck that heads to the VPC?

I was watching them unload a couple of days agao. As they unload you see a minivan, pesumably full of people, drive onto the ship and then you see 8 or 9 cars come out in a row including the minivan and then they park them on the dock. The procedure repeats it's self, there are also a few vans so they can off load quickly. As far as the rest of the procedure is concern I have no idea.

I think the next stop is Long Beach and then Hueneme. The lastest schedule for PH has the Grus now arriving on Sunday the 11th.

The Grus is docked at LB and finally the next port is PH, due at midday tomorrow. I have neven seen a ship make so many stops. Talking about a slow boat from China. It's already been 7 weeks since I dropped off my car and it is still on the bloody ship!

Seriously .... all my excitement tracking this thing has made me mad. Might as well just expect the car in June that way I won't lose any more sleep ... haha.

Well the Grus is still at LB and has been there all day. I think the crew is asleep. If anyone lives near the port can you go over and wake up the crew we want our cars. I need to pick mine up by the 24th or I will have to wait until the 20th of June before I can get it. There is no point showing it's position any more as it doen't change.
