Sorry i ended up going out last night - gosh you love your popcorn eh Paul!!!? Right, how the hell do i answer Porschas question without offending anyone??? Lets put it this way Porscha i certainly dont do local theatre productions!!!! And im definitely no thespian!!! Although i have "briefly" appeared in a few mainstream box office movies - my main line of work is this - sorry guys, she did ask!! (The man with the amazing invisible penis!!! Had to keep it clean!!)

Hotcoupe - I've just wrote rather a long post on there, I have been an active PH'er for over two years and you know what I'm fed up with the amount of playground bullying that goes on there.

While I've been so surprised by the whole cameradie on E90Post A credit to this forum

Here here, Nicola!!! Couldnt agree more. I have to say when i had my E46 M3 and my CSL i used to regularly visit MTorque which was then called BM3W or something. And after a while i noticed how rude and obnoxious a lot of the members were. If you ever dare mention you were thinking of putting a non-original part on your car you would be shot down in flames. I finally left the site as i got into a really heated argument with someone who didnt have the balls to call me to discuss why he had insulted me for no reason whatsoever but instead hid behind the forum and continued his assault on people. Pathetic. Im a grown man and didnt need crap from these anoraks!! Ive never been on PH gassing station but have read the Carlos attack thread - and as much as Carlos is very good at winding people up and can certainly give as good as he gets - i also agree that the thread has become abusive and has singled out Carlos for the simple reason that he loves his car. I absolutely love the E90 forum and ive found everybody incredibly friendly and helpful - and i think its a real credit to us all on this forum. Steve

I think its shocking that the moderators have not stepped in to condemn or close the thread. Thank god we have e90post with a nice cross section of members and car enthusiasts who appreciate that we are all different, have different views and can all respect that.

Yes we all have a bit of banter, but the attack on PH is just plain vicious!

Yes I read what I assumed was your post Porscha, and I agree with your sentiments.
PH is not a good forum for admitting you own a 335D, which is a shame,but thats the net for you I guess.
I have seen umpteen threads on PH that have ended in a similar manner, and I'm surprised that the particular thread we are talking about has been allowed to continue.
Thankfully the sort of behaviour displayed on the PH thread would not happen, or be tolerated on E90.

Took me a while to respond to this due to my parts coming yay lol!

I agree 100% I actually thought I'd be "attacked" so to speak on here due to me owning a very old car but everyone just seems to get on.

The problem with PH from my perspective is the fact that, in my regional section we meet, we have little run out there are so many different cars from a lovely Bentley Turbo R with a driver that you would never expect to have a Turbo R , to the Classics - me with the MG Midget, an oldish man with a 1963 Riley 1500 and another with the most wonderful used not concours 1959 Austin Healey (Frogeye) Sprite, a couple who have every car from a Mini to a Ferrari, then theres the modern cars an Audi S4, there was an M3 for a while, there is even a guy who doesn't own a car at the moment!

Right onto why I'm so fed up with PH, if you think General Gassing is bad, you want to head into the Pie and Piston! Numerous times I have been slated on pistonheads yet only by people who don't turn up to anything you could say thats typical! Two of the regular Midlanders left "mainsteam" PH (but still come to meets) due to something that happened a while ago where I got slated, I left it for a while. It give us all a bad name and as much as I harp on about it IT WAS NOT LIKE THAT before haymarket took over.

Not happy with the mods over that 335d thread as they were just as bad as the main lot for not intervening and in some cases joining in
