Hi guys I’ve been having a look in to this crypto currency and got set up with an account. I haven’t put no account details to credit it yet as I’m slightly unsure of how safe it is. Let’s say I’m not the best with this sort of stuff. Any help would be gladly appreciated thanks Ian

'Got set up with an account'...through what service? Or what wallet?

It's pretty clear you have almost no clue what you are doing (inclduing by your own admission). I suggest you do a lot of research before you invest any money in crypto-currency. Otherwise, you are just asking to be robbed blind and lose any money you invest.

As a side note, asking on a car forum is probably not the best way to start your research.

Not sure what he did with the crypto, but he left the company we worked at and started a consulting company (I also left but for a different reason).

Lol crypto is not even close to dead. We are at the start of this technological revolution, this is just the beginning. Blockchain is going to create the next internet version 2.0.

The vast majority of people who got into crypto have lost, with many losing big. I think we'll see ETH sub $100 before it's all over. I think the capitulation in the alts is only just beginning. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility to see ETH at $100, LTC at $25, and BTC at $6100.

There's simply no liquidity in this market nor excitement to pump up, let alone support current pricing. At least as I see it.

Would love to see that. as I have a bunch of XRP. Don't particularly think it will happen, but hey, whatever.

Pretty much this says it all, I approve. Most of my friends are saying that crypto will never become an alternative currency but the thing is I've been successfully mining via my hashflare contract and there is absolutely no struggle. I even linked them this hashflare review so they could see that it is still working just fine but I guess some people will never learn.

Heh.

Anyways, there is no, one source to look at, you will need to do your research.

At current prices, you can pay off your investment in hardware in under 2 years if you get free electricity.

If you pay for electricity at normal retail rates, it's hardly worth it.
