I think one of the major problems is, that most of the travellers today are assuming, its their private cabin and some of them are acting like that. They dont care much about other people as long as their own comfort isnt affected.
As an airline employee my sight dont differs by travelling and I think I wont reach a point where nothing would bother me anymore because I'd seen it all. When Im on duty I dont care, because the crowd is acting behind a gun safe cockpit door. But when returning as dead head crew or flying operative to the next airport into the cabin uniformed or not thats no difference to expect a bit decency from other people. Working into an aircraft today is much more harder than 15 years ago, the new generation travellers had changed their minds and so are sometimes their behaviour.

1K with United so here are mine when I don't get upgraded:
Gate lice. Jackasses who crowd the gate, cut in line and generally make a bad experience worse. They have not earned or paid for the privilege to board early. People who put small items in the overhead bin with nothing under the seat in front of them. People who are rude to fight attendants. Smelly people. Jesus, take a fing shower!! Jackasses who rush to get in front of folks when deplaning. Surprisingly okay with babies crying or not. Most parents are very sensitive to their kids behavior and not much you can do about a baby crying. Flying in general sucks but some people are just clueless. |

This one I find exceptionally irritating, but I also fund it amusing because the people who do it must be very stupid to not realise the outcome...
People who absolutely must get off the plane in front of you. You know the ones. As soon as the aircraft is remotely close to coming to a halt, and before the engines are shut down, they're our if their seat getting their stuff out the overhead bins. Do they not realise that they are totally at the mercy if the baggage unload timings and carousel reclaim process? On average, I get to passport check faster than 50% of people who do this. And the other 50% aren't faster to passport control because they got out if their seat in a dizzying rush. Its baggage claim. You're at the mercy of where and when your bags appear in the carousel. That's the single defining process that dictates the order you arrive at passport control. Not your impatience. Fucktard. So I have a good chuckle at people who rush to deplane, because they are drawing attention to the fact that they are simpletons with no powers of analysis. You'd be better off doing what I do, I think to myself... Just sit the fuck down and chill the fuck out. And have a good laugh and point at the impatient morons... Yours Aye Mark H

Screaming babies and parents who have the “oh well, what are you going to do” attitude. The 350+ lb person oozing onto me. I’m not a lightweight but I fit into my seat. To be fair, seats are too small anymore, but dang. That and the farts.

The stupid security checks. I get that people need to feel safe when they enter a tin can but they always serve meals that should be considered attempted murders so why bother patting us down?
I can't help it but those guards bring out the idiot in me. I never pack more than a backpack so one would think I'd leave all stupid crap put but nooo. I make sure they go through my stuff and I only pack things that'll make them seriously question how perverted one can be. Nobody flies with me twice.

Just got back from a business trip to Tampa... on the flight back last night from Dallas to Sacramento... the woman next to me literally farted into my mouth at least 4 times on the 3.5 hour flight. It was disgusting. She didn't even have the decency to turn on her air vent. I was trying so hard to muster one up and get back at her but no luck.

Is that "literally" in the traditional definition of the word or some new definition?

Your theory about the cabin pressure isnt tenably, if you're feeling compressed by increasing the pressure into the cabin, your myringas would gone torned before.
