Rix, I have them installed and just want to make sure I can give an unbiased review before I post anything up. Short story is the response of the car is noticeably better now. I feel like the dual intake definitely causes a faster spool of the turbos, so the pull on the lower part of the rpm is more noticeable. I will have a full review soon.

Sounds good! I am sure it will be worthy of its own thread, this one is getting long...

Rick I definitely will. I will include a video and comparison between the BMS Single and BMS Dual Filter intake so people can choose what suits their needs best. The comparison video will be on the exact same roads shot from the exact same location in the same rpm range. I think it will probably help people. Basically, after going dual I definitely think this is the way to go for most turbo enthusiasts.

Mike what I think you will like most is the response to small throttle blips that you get. The car feels like it is in boost quicker with smaller throttle movements. I think my car still has some adaption left, so I am very excited about the choice. Again, the price on this makes it a no brainer.

I have a question guys. I was trying to install the intake and according to the video and written instructions it says it makes the job easier if I take off the hvac filter, meaning I would have to take out the two panels on both sides, the sensors, wires, and the battery rail. All that seemed a little intimidating for me while the other steps seemed to be pretty easy. How much harder would it be if I did not remove all of those parts prior to disassembling the stock air intake? Is the only reason why they recommend taking out the hvac filter is to access the oem bracket? And if so, would I be able to use the screw drivers where you are able to bend to access tight spots? Any info would help. Thanks

Well, I just installed one yesterday on my car, and I did not remove the cowl assembly. I just used a bendy screwdriver, and only pulled off the battery cable rail to be able to get access to the screw on the piping. Took me about 5 minutes to take off the airbox, and then 5 more minutes to install the cones... and I did it in the rain

I've heard many others say it makes the job tougher to not remove those other parts. I would suggest you remove them, just for the experience under the hood of the car. It's not too bad, all you really need is an 8mm socket and a screw driver. I've built up enough time under the hood now that I'm no longer intimidated by getting right in there to do almost anything. Next little project will be spark plugs, but not for a while.

If you watch the first part of this video it shows you exactly what to do to get those parts out of there:

Yeah I think I'm going to take that route with the bendy screwdriver. Is there any special procedure in taking off just the batter cable rail? I think I will attempt to install the intake later on this evening after watching the install video a few more times. Thanks!

Thanks. Yeah I've watched the video over a few times and the part that gets me a little nervous is the removal of the tube or whatever after removing the sensors. I think the bendy screwdriver route is what I'll try first. haha

The battery cable rail just slides out with 3 clips that are kinda like on rails that let it slide forward and then off... mine just pulled forward with 5 seconds of wiggling it.

An easier thing to look for would be a flexible bit driver. I used to work at an Ace hardware and we carried it.

It was usually 6" in length and would fit any 1/4" bits....

No problem. I worked there for 3 1/2 years all through high school so I learned about all those "weird" tools....

Best of luck!
