I thought that the V81 guys could actually use the non-doomsday maps risking only to have this "silent alarm" reports stored in their ECU.

By the way , BETA maps are great. Looks like Procede became like it always should be.
Good Job.

beta maps

Just installed the new beta map stage 1 and so far my car seems slower.
How long for the new maps to adapt? I am running open airbox with V80.
The stage 1 non doomsday felt much better . To tell the truth, I could not tell much difference between the two.(doomsday non doomsday) You think I need to do more pulls? More time to adapt? The pre beta maps felt faster so far

I think the car needs to adapt, plus this map is awesome as far as transmission shifts...If you like the other map, you should consider to still use it because there was nothing wrong with the first V3 maps at all....I love this new beta map for the smoothness that the old V3 map didn't have...As far as lose of power between the two, I have really felt any difference besides the transmission shifting smoother!

You did install the new firmware first, right? And you switched to Map 2 with the remote and saw the map change on the PROcede Reader dashboard?

The difference between the two is obvious, 12.5psi vs 15.5 in my case. What is your gauge showing and what are you datalogging for boost psi?

I did

I did download firmware to support the beta maps. I have switched back and forth between the two maps ( with the fob) with little difference between the two. Both seem slower....much slower down low than the first V3 maps.
I am somewhat new to this and have not data logged before. I have a 135 and want to put a gauge in the car but as far as I know no one has a decent mount yet . i am from the hot rod diesel world and would like to moniter EGTs and boost. tonight I am going back to the old maps.

UPS is going to deliver the Goods today. I must run Doomsday map and would like to have Valet mode as the default.

Basically, I want to start the car be in valet mode and then use the FOB and switch on the fly to DOOMSDAY map.

The ideal setup would be Valet in the default Map position (Map position #2 as I understand it) and the Doomsday map using the Fob ON button (Map position #1)

Assuming there is a map for Valet, Is this possible? or is the only way to get into Valet mode done with the RPM method?

From what I read so far, this is not possible using the beta maps because you can not specify map location. But can you do this with V3.0 maps.

Thanks.

Hi guys,
We'll have several different options for customers in the very near future. Just working on a few new features first. When these maps variations are posted up, you will be able to choose what map you default to as well as what map(s) are triggered when you press the buttons on the remote map switcher.

100% Throttle = 15 PSI

This may not be exact but gives an idea.
Agreed, me too. At first this map felt faster, but then I realized it was just running more boost for the same throttle positions. didn't feel any faster at WOT.

Hey Shiv, When do you think these new maps will come out and will they have the traction nanny option?

Shiv

Do you have any plans to refinr or continue updating V2?

If so, when?

Thanks!

I think the answer to that would be NO, because of all the new advances of the V3, the V2 is the thing of the past, time to upgrade!

Actually, Shiv previously mentioned additions to V2 once V3 is completed. Some of the technology will trickly down from V3 to V2. But not sure if this is still the case.

I am loving my car more than ever, especially with the V3, smooth...its perfect! Hooked up the map switcher today which I finally got in the mail, took all of 10 minutes to install and its pretty cool to see it work via the Procede Reader!
No more GHOST map switches for me! lol

Great work Shivmeister! Will be waiting for the new maps and switching variations on the maps!

Loaded the V3 standard release. Loaded the Stage 0 Doomsday map and all went as expected. No codes no drama. The only little hiccup was flashing the firmware it failed the first time but just clicked the load button again, and 30 seconds later we were loaded !!

Its adapting fine. was expecting a bit more down low but I am a P29.2 casualty... Shiv can only do so much. But thank god the drown is mostly gone and very smooth and controllable via the throttle. Which brings me to my next comment.

How much smoother can V3 beta be??? I am not experiencing any of the aggressive shifts at full throttle that Shiv mentioned the beta was supposed to cure. I actually feel the power pull back, and a bit of a pause before the next gear. I confirmed that I am running Stage 0 Doomsday and firmware ending in 26.

It may not be the raw beast that V2 was but it is also much more at harmony with its self. Before you you could feel that one variable might be fighting another. Not this time all are working as one.

It would seem that the shifts on the transmission would be optimal for long term durability
