Lion, the bimmerfest link I refered to earlier was concerning an E60 being held up; That being the case, E60's and 90's are being held -- I wonder why?

Actually the Port Hueneme schedule is dated "as of September 25" -- they don't seem to have updated it since then.

Not sure how many others here are waiting for an E60 (I know this is a 3-series board, but as spn says, it's the best for tracking) but a user on bimmerfest says his '09 528 is at the dealer (East coast); that's encouraging -- i.e. no VPC hold.

That's good news. Hopefully whatever was reportedly going to delay the process has worked itself out. Thanks!

Here's a map from sailwx.info showing Traviata's history, with positions plotted at 6-hour intervals. Hojin is supposedly 6 hours ahead of Traviata, so this makes it easy to estimate Hojin's position. I'm guessing Hojin will enter the portion of Baja that is covered by marinetraffic.com shortly before midnight Saturday (Pacific time). Once that happens, we can track Hojin ad nauseum -- but it will only be a couple of days more before she sets in to whichever port she's actually heading for.
Does anyone know if she's likely to turn around and head back through the Canal for Europe after she unloads in SoCal? If so, an itinerary of PH, LB, SD would make sense. |

Unfortunately, LB is listed as the last port on the SDMIS website. No one really knows where it's stopping first. Port Hueneme still says they'll be there on the 5th (I talked to the booking agent yesterday). Time will tell...

The only possible explanation is that this ship is actually an intergalactic vessel capable of interdimensional travel, and, hence, will actually be at both places at the very same time.
It's kind of like Diana Ross and Michael Jackson - all done with mirrors. |
