Yeah, their website is weird.
They have a model for the 230i but it is out of stock https://www.cravenspeed.com/the-plat...mw-230i-coupe/

They have a scratched version for the m240i https://www.cravenspeed.com/front-li...mw-m240i-blem/

I can't imagine that they'd be any different? Strange...

I inquired into Tulley about going for an M240i, and they want 5k non-refundable and they've said when they get allocations at this point is random. I can't float that, so, I guess I'll hang on at Westbrook and hope I see the car by spring!

That's exactly the reaction I had. No bueno!

On the bright side, I was worried about having to buy a 2nd set of wheels/winter tires when taking delivery, but now it looks like i may be able to wait until the following winter for that lol.

I went for the all-season tire option, this is going to be the year round daily. Hoping for a Christmas miracle.

I've gone back and forth on it since you can do either P-zero's or the A/S rft's on the 797M rims, but my plan as of now is to get a set of 18" rims and run a square setup when the snow starts falling. Still have to figure out the specifics with sizing and what not.

Ohh! That sucks! They've bumped it up. It was a 3k non-refundable deposit for me in mid July.

For sure! Definitely unfortunate, and here I was thinking that 1k non-refundable was a tad aggressive hahaha.

Oh well, another season of the GTI, it is!

Do you think being a 2023 would impact the connection? I'm sure it is a standard size used.

I don't think so. But since it's out of stock and I might need one in a month, I found an alternative.

Just noticed on the phone app, that the car appeared! It was always under a blanket since I got my VIN with status 150 about 2 weeks ago from my CA and added the VIN in the phone app.
Does anyone know if this "update" means anything as in the current status of the car? like it means it moved to QC status, Final Assembly, Ready for Transport, etc ?
Or its just a normal "visual" update in the app without any real status code change in the background ?

Btw, this is the my BMW app for Canada and since I added the VIN # to the app I only have a picture with the car stating " Delivery underway" and "Active" and this didnt change at all... only the car is no more under the blanket for roughly a week.

P.S: I had a 34th production week ( last week)

You have to open the My Garage page with Chrome dev tools enabled and look at a specific entry. This should get you there.

Make sure you click on the Preview tab in dev tools to see the right info.

This happened for me about a week ago when I was still stuck in QC but shortly after I advanced to final assembly and then ready for transport.

thank you KJ10, good to know this! so maybe the update in the my BMW app with the car no more under a blanket might coincide with the BMW My Garage website status update of changing from QC to Final Assembly or even to Ready for Transport at least I have this info now since in Canada we cannot see the status updates in the BMW My Garage website page...

I'm surprised you have to wait so long. I ordered my 2023 M240i 2nd week of August the following week I got my production number which means I got an allocation. I guess my dealership had one and I was the first to order a 2023 M240i from my dealer. I can't believe you've been waiting since May.
