Yeah I feel the same way too! But look at it this way...at least you get to drive yours in "The City" which should be most fun...probably the place I would get more excitment driving my bimmer...lucky dog! I will be in the city sometime this summer for a drive around the hills

agreed, this sucks.

The only positive note is it allowed me time to find a great rate on financing. (4.5% on 60 month purchase ... nwfcu.com)

That's a damn good rate. The best I've been approved for is 5.25% from my CU. The lowest they are giving to their members is 5.15%, so I might have to check nwfcu.

I just got off the phone with my CA and he's thinking it will be at the dealer (Concord BMW) 6/15.

Yea, my own credit union wanted 5.8%. Luckilly my wife got her membership back when she worked for a government contractor and I was able to join last month as a family member. Credit unions are like the Mafia, once you're in, you're in for life!

Leitrim. Curious to see what deal you got at Concord. I was dealing with their internet group for a while but eventually went back to Weatherford to get mine.

For my lease, I paid $725 over invoice + $625 bank acquisition fee and got my money factor at the buy rate (.00195)

$800 over invoice, no other fees (at least not disclosed), MF was .00225.

My wife and I have since decided to purchase the car vs. leasing. So recently I've been focusing on getting good financing.

I applied those numbers to my lease, and we basically got the same deal (within $3 per month). Dealers definitely know what they're doing when they work the numbers.

Just be glad you didn't do ED if you don't like waiting.
I ordered my car at the end of January, waited the 3 months for my ED trip, picked up the car in Munich and drove it for 2 weeks, dropped it off and now I'm just waiting like the rest of you. While I the trip was amazing and I got to do cool stuff like driving on the autobahn and driving her around the Nurburgring, it's kind of like a tease and makes the redelivery wait even worse. Today is 18 weeks since I ordered (I hadn't actually counted till now. )

Well I'll be damned! Great work. Looks like the 6th/7th *might* be possible! I wonder why we can't see it on AIS Live??

ETA is still 18 hours from now to "enter" the canal. May still be over a hundred miles from the canal, and therefore off the screen.

6/7 is unlikely, given it takes 1-2 days to get through the canals, and roughly a week up the coast. Maybe, but unlikely.

Ah you're right. I didn't realize it takes up to 2 days to get through the canals. 10th still looks like the best estimate.

I'm there with you. We did ED in late April, drove around for 2 weeks and dropped it on May 2nd. Then WAITED until the 17th for it to even get on a ship. Now, I'm in here with you guys obsessing over a rusty bucket in the middle of the ocean. So that means it's been @ 13 weeks since I first ordered it. Gawd almighty this is brutal.

Tell you what though, I'd do ED all over again. The autobahn was unbelievable. I can't wait until they integrate the ED program with the actual factory. 2007 or so I think. Anybody know exactly when? I haven't really searched the other threads.

Awesome . I checked a few hours ago and it wasn't on the map. This waiting is insane. I'm trying to figure out a way to lock myself out of the forum so I don't have to obsess over this sh*t anymore!!
