Nothing to see. It's fp1/2. They're testing lots of things, including full fuel runs to dial in the car. Not every lap is a quali prep lap. Fp3 is usually more telling, but still not perfect.

Max's long run pace yesterday was quite strong (Pete Windsor video) yesterday. It seemed like Nor was closest but still a bit off. Would certainly like to see Per with some good points this weekend.

Yes, Max is set up way more for the race and again, as mentioned, his race pace was better. You could even hear a bit of that doubt when they asked Nor if he could win knowing that Max and MB are quicker.

I do think in the next few rounds it will be RB and then MB as Mclaren sink to 3 and Ferrari find themselves at #4.

Same here, I always feel with the MAX factor there is something in reserve which they would rather not use and Merc can't jump that far in such a short time with their car that they seemingly have on the right course now.
