A GT3 is fun even at low speeds. It is engaging, full of feel and very sharp. You don't have to beat it to enjoy it. Plus the 991.2s have a ton of torque so they absolutely do not feel slow around town. On top of that yes it is obviously very fast but you can definitely use it on the street. My friend's 750 Mclaren on the other hand? Stupid fast my god what a car but its really just so god damn fast. That car is hard to use on the street but a GT3 while is still too fast for the street, it can be done selectively to blast to 130-140 when the road is clear in Mexico |

Speaking of the 25's Porsche is milking every last drop out of the 4.0L motor at this point and I think the car enters a slippery slope approaching $250-275K+. They are clearly not developing the motor anymore as it uses the borrowed FD from the ST, cams from the RS and now has 4 cats! It's a real shame the environmental regulations have this motor bottled up to the point that despite these improvements the 992.2's make the same power as the 991.2's and less torque! They will sell all of the new ones they make, but I think the 991.2's are the sweet spot as they got the bullet proof motor lifted from the cup cars, classic look, apple car play and a rear camera but still has tactile buttons and some old school feel. It's the sweet spot for me. Or if you have $40K more and want a double wishbone front, the 992.1's are brilliant too and even better on track. |

They are special cars, still NA and light and not too digital. Halo Porsche for me would the 997 4.0 but you'd be too scared to put miles on it.

We looked into doing a 3.8 or 4.0 build on our 996 rebuild. They make higher displacement cases, but we were gonna need heads too, and of course eall.the accessories. Would have cost a small fortune. Way more than the car would ever be worth. If anything, I wish we had done an LS swap in it.

The Z06 is a good choice for sure, 2018 Mercedes AMG GTR would also be a contender, or just an older 2015 GT3, could almost buy 2x 2015 GT3s for the cost of a new 2025 GT3, what a world. |

Agree. It is arguably the greatest sportscar ever made. To be clear, not hypercar, just sportscar. The last of the analogue cars but still modernish.

Wow ... it's like the only time it is driven is once a year for an annual oil change or MX schedule items at a dealer or indy shop. What a waste. Someone buy it for me so I ..er...the car can get some miles in and be fulfilled.
