has anyone put this on a lease car b/c this trunk makes me cry its soo hot, but paying 1,000 plus on a lease is hard to justify. I would probably just not paint my m sport rims and just do this mod. N e ways enough talking mad props for this amazing trunk.

I'm unsure why you can't put this on lease... In fact with a leased LCI E90, it should be pretty easy where you just need to swap out the actual trunk as opposed to swapping the lights and installing the harness.

Anyone know the wiring harness that is needed to convert the pre-LCI taillights to the LCI LED taillights? I'm assuming it's NOT just plug and play, meaning, I can't just buy the LCI CSL trunk with the LED lights (inner and outer part) and everything will work, right?

Hey guys,

Yes, when you buy the trunk and lights, we provide the wiring/load resistors needed to produce an error free conversion. It does involve some wire tapping, but it's not hard to do by any means.
