sorry don't feel like back reading. What's going to be different in the rematch with the tunes?

Main difference will hopefully be Enrico getting a better start. Same tuning wise. I think the JB3 car is going to match the boost level of the V3 this time around of 15-16psi. Also this time they will be on the same octane fuel, last race it was a bit different with 93 octane JB3 vs 94 octane V3. Not huge but it was like a 1 car difference on the run up to 155mph so could help.

my procede stage 3 map only hits 15.3psi BTW (well, even less since the procede software reads on the high side).

I am going to race with the exact same setup as the last time.

Enritas butt dyno felt a big power increase with the new 1.4 map 7 before we raced, but didn´t really like the outcome.
So he will now change to 1.4 map 8 instead, with less IAT decay.

BTW: I am boosting 15.2 psi.

i will first race with the same map 7 and try to do a better launch. Than will do a couple with map 8 to see the differences. Pity the procede does not have the possibiliy to change maps with different PSI levels on the fly since it would be really interesting to see how both cars react with different PSI levels and almost same mods.

You can change the user torque / ign-correction settings on either map to your liking. So yes you can switch between lower/higher boost maps on the fly.

i know but its only 2 maps. I meant doing runs on maybe 11-13-14-15 psi etc. its just a curiousity , mean would be interesting to test that . With the laptop in the car i guess it would be possible.

Is Big Tom also going to install catless dps like enrita? That alone is worth another 15-20whp over th catted dps he is running now.

What's your issue flashrunner? did you even read the thread? Big Tom and Enrita are good friends. No funny business.

Why do you keep putting Big Tom in quotes anyways?

I've had high-flow cats before (and do again in my exhaust), its a misnomer ... they should be branded "slightly better flowing" cats.

I got the cats to getting rid of the smell, but still wanting a deeper sound and some flow improvements.

I'm about to cut the cats out of my AE exhaust ... I'll dyno the before and after (with no other changes) to see what the real world difference (i'll post it in a new thread).

The secondary cats aren't as bad... catless downpipes vs. highflow catted downpipes is where there will be a bigger difference.

Yep exactly... Especially when the rest of the system is also catless, running at 15+psi of boost. Catless dps are a big advantage over catted dps.

I dont really think so. i did a couple of tests from 0-200km/h before/after catless by g-tech, same road, similar weather, and theres certainly no difference between them in terms of time.

We both have only 1 set of cats. Big Tom on Dps and i have the middle ones.
Guys please there is absolutely no history here , we just like to race and share videos to the community. It just happens we have different tunes, thats it. We would do exactly the same if we both have the same one... We are more battling on the fastest car not the best tune. :-)
