Bumper installed. The exhaust tips are Dimisa 3" Exhaust tips. Lower portion, diffuser, is painted in high gloss black. CF was way over priced and I think this looks awesome! Comments are appreciated!

Also, why did you decide on the Dimisa vs. Cyba? I'm planning to do the same mods, but not sure which is better. If you like it, good for you.

Is there a DIY install? I removed the factory one already (it is for sale). I'm just nervous about cutting up my OEM bumper to get it to fit. Anybody have any advice on how to cut out the bumper section - I found the instructions on here but what tool do you use to do it?

What do you mean exhaust conversion? It is a Vanguard exhaust with BMW performance diffuser.
I can't believe I didn't post this up...

Ok sorry If I am repeating here but I have a few questions on the Performance Diffuser.
Its hard to tell on some of these pictures because of lighting but it appears the performance diffuser comes in Carbon Fiber, matte black (or is this just "unpainted"?) or body matched. This appears to be the part (P/N 51192153917): http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...subcat1=138716 So my question is: is there a different part number to match the performance grills (gloss black, not sure how that would look actually) or do you have to order the above part number and then get it painted? I guess if i would have to get it painted anyway it might be just as easy to get my existing M-Sport diffuser painted. I know its only a little darker than it is now but I think it would really make my Space Gray M sport look complete now that I have the performance grills and tints. |

pre-lci rear with CF diffuser cover
Hi:
Thanks to all who have posted pics on this thread. I used them them to decide on the install you see here. Decided to go with the OEM (ala 335is) paint style and am happy with the choice. Also had the perf front installed. Read more here. hope this helps someone out... |

This might be a duplicat question, but I didnt return a defined answer by reading though this form. What are the actual p#s OEM, to replace the bumper and the diffuser on a 330i 2006. Im trying to figure out if I have to buy the rails, mtech, bumper the diffuser and the mounting kit, or just the whole performance bumper kit, which might be cheaper.
Thanks in advance. Kevin |

I thought it might be. From this thread, I think if I went with that, I would have to buy the performance diffuser to make it work, but is that the cheaper route to go VS buying the performance bumper cover guides, and diffuser? I dont want the MTech diffuser. Does the 2008 328 performance kit make more sense. I dont want to forget any p#s with the purchase, but at the same time, I dont want to buy needless parts.
