I think best case scenario for us New Yorkers is Thursday delivery; car unloaded on Saturday. Sunday closed. Takes at least 2 days to process in VPC which brings us to Tuesday. Shipped out on Wednesday and dealer preps it. Take delivery on Thursday. If no problems at VPC, we should get the car next Monday the latest.

I didn't want to be disappointed if I didn't get a call by Saturday so I factored in the chance of there being many cars ahead of us that needs to be processed. But yes, I do expect the car to be in my hands by Saturday.

LOL, this is how I feel....seriously....I've already started medicating myself, drink when I get home from work and one before bed, may need one in my coffee this morning. can't ever remember feeling like this.

I am running by the dealer today to go over a possible trade. I was going to sell my car at CARMAX but dealer may buy instead.

BAD BAD NEWS.

Stopped by my dealer on the way home. My CA check the vehicle status, it reads (saw it myself):

11-15-06 arrival at VPC
11-23-06 will be released to carrier
11-24-06 arrival at dealer.

He is calling the VPC in the morning to see what the holdup is.

How did it arrive today? Should have been there on Monday the latest since the VPC is right there at the port. Do you know if your car was given the priority 1 treatment? My guess is that the holdup is for a software update.

That would be nice to know...it sounds like you're a week 43. Think there are week 44's on the Freedom, wonder if we'll be 8 days at the VPC? I think my plans of 12/9 would still be good even at 8 days, but it'd be nice to beat those expectations. Please let us know what the holdup is....
