If you have any BMW factory speaker upgrade such as hifi, professional, logic7 or Harmon then this upgrade will not work, because it either isn't compatible or is not a worthwhile upgrade. A professional head unit doesn't mean you have upgraded speakers. If you don't have tweeters up front, then you have a stock speaker set up.

It's aimed at people whose cars have stock speaker set up.

Anyone managed to fit this in themselves, any guides and step by step instructions available? (I did see the instructions in the technical section but without images, step by step instructions i wouldnt want to take the risk)

A professional head unit doesn't mean you have upgraded speakers. If you don't have tweeters up front, then you have a stock speaker set up. It's aimed at people whose cars have stock speaker set up.
