21 is legit.

1 thing I noticed, My REAL boost gauge is connected to the intake manifold, and that will read 0 Vaccum, while the fuel gauge "boost gauge" will read about 2-3 PSI.

I'm assuming its reading off the Tmap or whatever. I guess both are accurate just read in different places.

Perhaps you are low on fuel

When I checked against an external gauge it looked as the fuel gauge begun to move in boost mode exactly as it should when the external gauge crossed 0 PSI. I made the more exact checks at 5, 10, 15 and 17 PSI though, where it was dead on.

Correct. The boost gauge (which reaches pressure before the throttle body) will read higher than a conventional boost gauge (which reads after the TB) when the Throttle blade angle is low (say, less than 30%). So at light throttle, cruise, gentle accel, you will see 2-3psi of boost in the Procede gauge when your "normal" boost gauge will read 0psi or even a little vacuum. At bigger throttle angles, the differential between both sides of the TB is close to 0 which is why the Procede boost display is so accurate once your foot is in the throttle.

We can, and may eventually, apply a throttle correction for the low throttle boost reading if people care. Or we could even read pressure from both the baro sensor (in the manifold) and TMAP (in the IC pipe) and "merge" the two depending on throttle angle. Anything is do-able. But we probably wont get around to it until other higher priority stuff is done first.

Cheers,
shiv

My p3 gauge was consistently reading much lower than the fuel gauge at the lower end of the scale.

I ran calibration on the p3 gauge and things are pretty much dead even now. I didnt realize my p3 gauge was pretty out of whack.

No need for low boost calibration. Firmware #21 tested today without remarks

All these new things seem really cool. I am just curious if anyone else feels boost autotune feels slower than the just ignition correction autotune.

I am fully bolted and if I just put the map on it never goes over 13psi. I have to manually put 55% in to get it to get boost up. And my aggression target is always down to 1.5 - am i doing something wrong?

Also I am putting meth in this weekend - what do I change haha

I've noticed cruise control can only be activated in valet mode. Map 1 and 2 act like the car is not moving fast enough when you attempt to activate it regardless of speed. Anyone else having this happen?

Well eitherway is fine, I just liked knowing when I was really in vacuum. Helped with gas mileage and stuff

It should work on all maps. You just need to make sure that the dtc light isn't on. BMW made it so that cruise control will not work if
Traction control is disabled. Nothing to do with the procede.

Ahh! Nice catch. That's the issue.

Had an idea for another feature potentially too. Persistent dtc with shut down/start up? Would be cool if it stayed in the same mode you left it in when you parked.

That and user adjustable boost taper for the AT.

Cheers,

-Paul

Before shiv answers I dont think he wants to take responsibility for traction control being disabled/enabled ETC.

Responsibility FTL.

Since we are on the idea of requests, just curious if its even possible, Anyway to make the foglights come on automatically when either parking lights or headlights go on? I hate having to push the button everytime. LOL.

This is going from a tune, to a system control hardware overnight.

Thanks for this comment. I was wondering why my cruise control stopped working, now that I always drive with assistance off!

Quite a neat little add on for the Procede. Any plans to do the AFR's in the same manner. That will be highly valuable for the guys that have boost gauges already.
