Hey mike do you have any runs of stock N54 with 93 oct. running JB4 map 1. I wanted to see the gains expected from running map 1 with 13-13.5 boost.
Anyone else besides Mike that might have this info......would you please share.....

Fortunately, I lowered the boost at 18.2 psi at map 2. The torque is amazing but the turbos have reached their limit. I barely run my map 2, except for some street racing occasions lol |

This is a good catch. HP=TORQUE at 5250rpms for all cars, except this one! That is not my opinion, that is mathematics.
Chris QUOTE=BrianMN;7854947]Mike- Can you provide any insight to this dyno/graph? Every other N54 dyno I've seen drops off HP at 5500rpm, whereas this one keeps climbing til '6700' rpm. Also, it appears this engine has a rev limiter of 7350rpm.. or something that makes the graph appear to fall off at 7350 instead of 7000. Maybe DynoDynamics just read/show rpm and power funny? Can you explain at all?[/QUOTE] |

that looks like a Dinan Stage 1 upgrade numbers (if 15% drive-train loss is factored in)
other than the invoice, is there anyway to verify whether you have a Stage 1 vs. a Stage 2 upgrade? Quote:

^^ Something is deffinitely wrong with those Dinan numbers.
Dinan stage 2 give over 300 Whp and 350 twp especially in those temps. With those modes, but should have gotten 8-14 whp and 10-15 twp gains. With Dinan Stage 2, Dinan CAI, and Dinan FFE my results were: 316 Whp max 370 Twp max In mid 80 degrees weather with high humidity. Last edited by BQTuning; 06-04-2011 at 02:32 PM.. |

Procede V5 vs. JB3 2.0
attached dyno shows an increase of 34 awhp and 51 awtq.
the only change was going from JB3 2.0 to Procede V5 My mods are the following and were the same under both tunes: ETS 7" FMIC ETS cat-less exhaust UR cat-less DP UR CAI Riss Racing charge pipe with Forge DVs SPEC stage 3+ clutch with billet flywheel Not that it will change Dyno results but the car has fully built suspension and chassis and full Stop-tech BBK front and rear. Keep in mind that this was an Mustang Dyno and my car is AWD. Mustang Dyno read about 15% lower than other Dyno! Best run 339 HP and 383 tq AWD to the wheels on 93 octane pump gas. Meth and turbo upgrade is next!!! Final result: Procede blows away the competition!! |

May be hard to read so here's the need to know:
Best run was 283rwhp and 299rwtq. I managed one run with 306rwtq, but the hp was down to 281. I was amazed at how consistant the car was. Only 5hp difference between the highest and lowest runs. Car is stock with magnaflow axle back. |

Not sure if there is a way to check. BMW just flashed my computer due to the HPFP recall. I will be going in to get Dinan software re-flashed. I will talk to them about my dyno results and make sure they flash stage 2 software. I might dyno my car again afterwards just to see if that was maybe the issue.

My Stg 2 Dynojet runs had 319whp and 356wtq on Stg 2 tune and Dinan Exhaust only...no CAI. Purchased this way from Dealership so I dont have stock baseline dyno.
