Maybe, due to the door being left unlocked before, his previous car(s) had/have been broken into or vandalized.

We've had previous break in attempts before. And like I said, I don't get along with my immediate neighbors. They rent unlike me so they don't give a fuck about anything. That's why I wanted to know exactly who it was before approaching anyone. And $90 is not a ton of $$$ unless you're a broke ass.

Knowing who it was and getting him to stop using the door, not having to worry if he's carrying anything like groceries etc. in the tight area between my car and garage, priceless.
