If my car is closer to the weight of a 135i..you know I trapped over 116mph Racefuel..JB4/DCI:.118mph...on RFTs, high octane....otherwise stock. Meth+91, JB4/DCI...and closer to 135 weight...121+mph Nitrous...I have trapped 133mph.... So no....trapping 116 for me didn't require nitrous..or hidden mods, lol. You can see how much faster the car was with those other mods. Not hating, great performance for your car. Just responding to your claim of having the fastest 91 octane/tune only run or street tires. Now get some 60-130 pulls also! FYI: My sedan trapped at 128.6mph this last weekend, still working on faster times...It also runs 3.4 second times with no warm up burnout, 2nd gear street launch.

Hotrod-you're not factoring in the Sacramento trap inflation from when you ran your "record breaking" times.
Clap-he has an auto.

Yea he's an auto with LSD downpipes and Dci. Running v5 map 2. I thought he would trap higher being that its 400 whp map. I am guessing my car is in the 360 whp range on its current state

Sure I am...vbox read 129.xs mph at Sacramento...I have since ran 133mph on the vbox...(would have been 135.7 mph at Sac). Its pretty much a given a car running sub 7 second 60-130s is a 130mph+ trap car. Heck...I don't even think a ZR1 breaks out of the 7s.

Hotrod. The man who defines common sense and physics. Sprays a car with a 28 shot and picks up over 150 to the rear wheels.
My 112 if I took a shit and had a tailwind would be a 118 if I was at sac and their timing was messed up to my ego would go up. If the stars aligned and a unicorn jumped across the finishline it would have been a 120. So my new time is 12.6 at 120 Cobb stage 1. Shiv hit 126 at 19 psi stock turbo. Lm hit 121 rb turbos so the eh upgrade loses 80 wheel. Hold on to your stock turbos guys cause if u were there and not here u would run faster. This if Bs is just that.....Bs. |

Ask Jake or Jeff what I tested them. I actually said 12.9 at 108-110 lol. So it ran a little faster than I though. In an all out 93 effort I can see 115 traps. I actually ran that trap already on the standback back in the day. It wasn't exactly pretty though lol

Again..I will reiterate: I ran verified 133mph traps on the Vbox. level run. If you need me to post the graphs again, I will be more than happy to oblige. And yes..133mph traps is probably the fastest run on the planet for a N54...so far. Your 112mph on 91 octane is good, but nothing to be fascinated about, or record breaking. FYI...I back up my runs with video, Vbox at the track, etc. I ran 11.8 in my sedan a few weeks ago...went up to Famoso and ran guess what?...I ran a 11.8. Really has nothing to do with stars being aligned, I can assure you I am running 121mph+ traps daily, on 91 oct/meth the way I drive it now. Anything less than a 120mph trap right now would seriously disappoint me. On my sedan build up list...I started instrumenting the car stock...ran 13.3-13.5..at 104-106mph...4.8-4.9 sec 0-60mph range..just where a stock 335i is supposed to run. It really is amazing how you doubt everything. I really couldn't have provided more proof. But currently that fastest 60-130 on nitrous or off belongs to a JB3/JB4 335i. Probably the fastest recorded trap on 91 was done on my car too. And yes..for my car lacking traction, with no LSD, no intercooler, stock exhaust...its still #1 on drag times for a 335i. I'm sure you will do better with more mods, no one is stopping you. But you have absolutely no reason to accuse, or insult others by saying their runs are B.S. as much as you don't need someone to say it was BS for you to be running 91 octane. ( I mean 93).

Nowhere did I say this was record breaking or amazing, it says cobb drag results.
I think you missed the point, it was to say your claims cannot be backed up by anyone else, but if you REALLY want me to pick these thigns apart I will be game. Lets start with a couple of questions. 133mph trap speed in a 3500-3600lbs car. What kind of power do you think that car has to put down? 115 traps in your video showing boost of like 13 psi falling to 11 on 91 octane. Same weight. What kind of power do you think that car has to put down? |

Not trying to argue here, but I'm sorry, I am not really into being a dyno queen or internet racing. I just want to see what the car does in real life, at the track, racing against others, etc. Maybe someday I will go to a dyno, but really have no interest in it. For the record, I never claimed any type of HP numbers for my car, nor do I care. And also, the coupe was very fast for reasons I still can't figure out. The sedan is 5mph slower in the traps (128mph) with a bigger 040 nitrous jet. Just the facts. I don't know why...wish I did, if you have any ideas, let me know! But no biggie, good run you have there...but certainly not the fastest on 91 (93) octane like you were claiming, thats all I was getting at. I'm actually quite disappointed when I can't trap full weight, on RFTs, 91 octane/JB3/JB4.

I think the most REALISTIC Race gas Stock tune only trap was 114-115. I believe that car was light weight in some regards.
One should note that CLAP135 never mentioned he had record breaking results. He also is stock weight + excess weight in the trunk for work equipment. In essence, this is a 93 octane FBO, Stage 1 bottleneck boost run with extra weight. These are realistic numbers, other numbers appear to be inflated, light weight, or race gas numbers with more boost. Pick your poison but nobody is really comparing apples to apples. Just for the record those 114+ traps on race gas tune only, were also taking advantage of more boost. The stage 1 cobb tapers to a realistic 13 PSI. Not sure I trust the boost gauges I've seen in the past from the JB3 line up. I had them myself and compared to a manual boost gauge came up with different numbers. Its no surprise either as one is read in the manifold (manual boost gauge) and the JB3 gauge was read at the TMAP. |
